Works Well
This fits well with a 6" insulated flexible duct.The damper is normally closed and when 24-volt AC is applied to the damper motor it opens.There is an adjustable stop so that, if desired, the amount that the damper opens can be set to be less than fully open.In my system, this damper is integrated with the HVAC system to open and provide a path for outside fresh air to come into my duct system to displace stale air. Also, the wiring is integrated with my high capacity range hood to open this damper when the range hood is on to provide make-up air into the living space so the range hood fan can work as it should.

Weak Return Spring. DONT BUY - RETURNS NOT ALLOWED.
The return spring on the actuator is weak and does not fully open the damper as designed. The damper is normally open and closed when powered... it does that. But when power is turned off to the actuator, the spring should open the damper but since the spring is being walked back by the motor, it doesn't always fully open.Useless. Worst part, NO RETURNS???????
