The Khadi Indigo powder gives your hair a beautiful, shiny black/black blue hue. With the Khadi Henna, shades can be from dark red to black. The natural colour of the hair base is crucial. The Indigo colour pigments are generally blue! Indigo is only suitable for naturally dark hair! Light hair should be pigmented first to allow the absorbtion of the black Indigo tones! Therefore, it is neccessary to dye lighter hair with Henna first before moving onto application of the Indigo dye. The Indigo colour works best when the pH of the hair has not been altered. It is therefore advisable to avoid mixing the coluor with lemon juice, as this will alter the pH of the hair and could change the outcome of the colour you want! Caution: Indigo, unlike other pigmentations that support hot water, should not be mixed at a high temperature. This colour pigment is at its best at 50°C.. All Khadi colours can be mixed together! Experiment with new colours and create your own special shade! Caution: When using this product on grey hair, we recommend pre-colouring (pre-pigmentation) with Pure Henna!
