LEGOCreator Winter Village Post Office 10222

The Winter Village line of Lego sets has quickly become one of my favorites and this wonderful edition will not disappoint. The set employs many advanced building techniques and is not something I would recommend for younger builders. This set took roughly 2 1/2 hours to complete and is worth every minute you spend on it. I always put my Lego village under our Christmas tree and I am constantly getting compliments from family and friends on how unique and cute it is.Like all of the other sets in this line the Post Office is not the only focal point. One of my favorite parts of this build is the towns gazebo with the band. Lego has done a wonderful job of creating a truly complete town setting with inclusions like this and the large Christmas tree included with the Winter Village Toy Shop (10199) and the skating rink that comes with the Winter Village Bakery (10216)Whether you're looking for a holiday project for your family or your a fan of Legos this set is sure to delight both the young and old.

My 10yr old daughter received this set for Christmas. I wasn't sure if it would be too difficult, or if she'd actually sustain interest long enough to complete it. No need to worry, this was probably the best Christmas present ever. She worked on it off and on throughout the vacation, had a few moments of frustration but worked it all out on her own. (She did get stuck near the end because it was missing several pieces. Ordering the pieces was no problem from Lego direct, but it did take two weeks to receive them.) She finally finished it last week and it's absolutely adorable!!! The attention to detail is amazing! She already wants other sets in the collection. I envision she will build on in time and it will be something she will keep and use for her own Christmas decorations when she's older. Great set, highly recommend for kids or adults!

Perfect Holiday gift

I also reviewed the Winter Village Bakery, and both comments for both products are similar. This is a great kit from Lego. The finished product is very nice, and it was really fun to put this together with my kids. My only complaint is that the instruction book makes it difficult to discern between grey and black pieces. This caused a brief bit of confusion, but was quickly solved. Overall, a great product.

This is the third winter village building I purchased, and the attention to detail is amazing. One thing worth mentioning is that the building isn't "closed" in the back; it's open so you can easily see all the detail inside the post office. There are lots of mini figures and accessories that come in this set. The gazebo with the musicians is a really nice touch!The set comes with several stickers you need to apply to the truck and building, which I'm not crazy about. I like when the bricks are printed or don't need additional detail from stickers. I highly recommend this set as an addition to your holiday village display!

I have been collecting Lego since I was a kid and I was excited about this set. It was a lot of fun to build and it looks great in my village. Lego has been part of my Christmas experience my whole life!

It was mailed in a timely fashion but otherwise was not a good experience. The pieces were bagged haphazardly together...no organizational logic at all to begin with. Still, the most frustrating part was that there were almost a dozen pieces missing! We had to try to find pieces from old Lego sets to even complete the Winter Village Post Office! After hours of working on the village, it didn't seem worth taking apart to return/ taking the risk that it was even still available etc. For the cost of this item, this was truly disappointing to say the least!

Very quick to build; 800 pieces doesn't take that long.The gazebo was interesting to see how it came together, but once it was done it looks very nice.The mail truck is fun, rolls great, the snowshoes sticking to it though makes it pretty difficult to remove though.The post office itself is pretty fun, the light up brick is easy to get to and hopefully just as easy to replace the battery on. It does add a lot of character to the building.Most difficult part is the roof on the building. Constructing it is easy, attaching it to the building itself is another story. As an adult, it was easy to figure out the best way to accomplish building it. For a child though? I can see some frustration happening.I bought this product on Amazon, but it was fulfilled by another company. I was not pleased at all with the packaging used, the product was just tossed in a box and it was barely sealed. None of Amazon's trademarked wonderful plastic air packs were used.

Ich schätze dieses Lego-Thema, das ich spät begonnen habe. der Lego 10222 war der letzte, der in meiner Sammlung fehlte. Ich schätze besonders das Design und die Vintage-Atmosphäre der Charaktere und Fahrzeuge und die Freude, sie zu bauen.

Lego always gives satisfaction and this unusual kit is no exception. Enjoyed the first time and rebuilt many times since and photographed for prosperity. Better value christmas present than most things available at that time of year.

Un regalo perfecto en navidad. Con todo tipo de detalles y el vehículo muy original. Considero que es imprescindible para los fans de lego.

Après la boutique de jouets et la boulangerie, j'ai acheté la poste non pas pour jouer, mais pour compléter ce village enneigé qui me sert de décoration de Noël. J'aime le fait qu'on ait une nouvelle fois droit à différents éléments en plus de la bâtisse principale : véhicule, kiosque, banc, musiciens et autres personnages. Je trouve par contre que pour une série aussi spéciale qui ne s'enrichit que d'un seul modèle par an (il s'agit ici du modèle 2011), Lego aurait pu nous faire grâce des différents autocollants à appliquer soi-même et nous fournir des pièces imprimées (logos de la poste sur le camion notamment). Autre petit point négatif : les bâtiments des autres modèles ont le toit couvert de neige, alors que sur celui-ci la neige semble avoir fondu en grande partie, ne laissant que quelques petits tas par-ci par-là. Une plus grande cohérence aurait été appréciée. Quoi qu'il en soit, je suis tout de même ravi de mon achat et ai hâte que Noël approche pour ressortir les anciens modèles et construire mon petit village comme tous les ans. :)

車の造形がレトロ調で可愛らしいライトブロックの使い方が絶妙。おそらく全シリーズの中で灯台と同程度の高レベル。ミニフィグはやはり楽器隊が素敵。雪の量もウィンターコテージ（10229）よりも少ないので、組み換えで冬以外のシーズンでも使えますおススメです。
