This set is just incredible. Absolutely fantastic picture in 4k. That they come in their own individual cases is a big plus. Highly recommend.

3 of my absolute favorite films of all time and in 4k HDR, the picture and sound was fantastic. I was able to enjoy these movies all over again and share it with my kids for the first time. Definitely worth it.

Is it too early to call these classics? I don’t think so, crazy enough, it’s been over a decade since “the dark knight rises”! And nearly 20 years now since “Batman Begins” so they are definitely classics! We are just old now. lol!Great box set, looks fantastic on the big screen even if it’s not in 4k. Cool packaging and tons of extra features both on the movie disks themselves and the bonus features disks! Wasn’t expecting the little photo sized prints in the pack but that was a cool little touch.This set is worth every penny, if you enjoyed the movies or are just a Batman fan, you should absolutely buy these films!Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman? Those are just the recurring characters in these great movies. Perfect casting imo.

Brilliant high quality boxset, shame WB doesn’t include digital codes anymore, but I couldn’t be much happier with this purchase.For those of you that care, there is some DNR on this 4K release. DNR is digital noise reduction, which scrubs grain off of film and sometimes causes a loss of detail for a “cleaner” picture. It is not noticeable unless you’re pixel peeking though and doesn’t detract from the experience. The color grading is also different from the Blu-ray release. More greens and oranges as opposed to harsh blues and reds. This was supposedly done to match the theatrical release better, but I don’t remember what that looks like after watching the Blu-rays so long.Overall good transfer and great box set. 11/10 for actually shipping it in a box instead of a bubble mailer! lol

For the first time in the history of film making a comic book character of fiction was taken and treated with the love and respect of an actual person who died and a fan made a documentary film about the person. I have never seen anything as exceptional and brilliant as Christopher Nolan's take on such an iconic character as the Batman. This will be a lengthy review of all three films in Nolan's masterpiece trilogy. First we have Batman Begins which is the beginning of Batman's career. We get an altered origin story of which I do not approve of but at the same time respect. At least he made a great interpretation of Joe Chill. Then we get Bruce Wayne locked up in a foreign country and is approached by Ra's Al Ghul who is posing as a man named Amil Ducard. He is invited to find what He is searching for. A means to fight injustice. Ra's offers him something more. The means to becoming an ideal, a legend. A myth. Something to be reckoned with. He trains Bruce to become a ninja in the league of assassins. When he is done training Bruce is given the ultimate test to test his loyalty and commitment to the league and is asked to execute a known criminal. Bruce refuses and a fight breaks out and the base of operations of the league is burned down in the process of Bruce escaping retaliation for disobeying Ra's Al Ghul. Bruce then goes home after a seven year hiatus and rejoins the company his father built. He then goes on to become the masked vigilante known as the Batman. We get 2 villains here. We get scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul. Batman foils Ra's Al Ghul's plot to destroy Gotham and saves the day. We get a lead into the next movie promising the joker.Enter the dark knight. The best super hero movie of our time. One grounded in reality and consequences. Batman is faced with a dilemma. Turn himself in or the joker will kill people. We get a wild and Oscar winning performance from the late and great Heath Ledger. Creating the best theatrical depictions of the joker ever. A true accomplishment in film history as possibly the greatest superhero movie of all time.Then we get an equally good but not phenomenal ending to the trilogy. The Dark Knight Rises. Another great performance from Tom Hardy as the terrorist Bane. In a great interpretation of the fall of the dark knight and breaking of his back as in the comics. And the evil seduction of Bruce done by Talia Al Ghul. Ra's daughter in a surprise twist to the mythos and origins of Talia. And her romance with the Batman. All in all a note worthy award winning spectacular reimaging of one of comics greatest characters. Batman gets the red carpet treatment he deserves and this trilogy is cult classic in totality. The best thing to happen to a franchise in recent history aside from the marvel cinematic universe.

The movies are great, as are the special features, but the normal menu options aren't there: for example, there's no 'scene' menu, and if you stop the film, you have to "skip" ahead until to get to your last point in the movie. Otherwise, all's well. One disc had a couple of skips during a scene, but overall, happy with purchase.
