A Great New Discovery
I had heard so much about Iberico I wanted to try it. It has the richest flavor of any cured meat I’ve ever tasted. While I love prosciutto di Parma for special uses, Iberico fills the place of an everyday treat. Too bad it costs so much. My world-traveling son tells me it sells for $8 a pound in Madrid. Maybe if it becomes more popular here, the price will come down. So eat, eat, eat!

This is not Ibérico Ham!
This is regular jamón serrano advertised as Ibérico Ham. Consistency is chewy instead of buttery and Taste is stale.

Flavor good
The iberico ham was good but had a strange chemical order upon opening the package. I was in Spain last October and brought several packages home with me and it did not have that odd odor upon opening.
