replacement lens
I got this lens as a replacement for an existing lens where the focus motor stopped working. I was a little worried , this being a "Renewed" lens. But When it arrived it was very well packaged, and looked like new. Trying the lens, it works without any problems. I would buy from this company again "Snap it up".

Dirty and cracked
I bought this item as second hand for 139£. It has been over a week and it is still working. I would expect it clean and unbroken even if it is second hand, but when I recieved it was very dusty and edge of lense holder was cracked.

Great lens, awful deal
Fantastic, versatile lens for Nikon DX cameras.I bought the newer version direct from one of many Hong Kong exporters for one third of the price advertised here, thus no UK warranty. Be aware that many, if not most, lenses sold on Amazon are also imports with no Nikon service guarantee.My advice, either go for a heavily discounted deal from an Asian exporter with a good reputation or pay more and buy from an authorised UK Nikon dealer and get UK warranty.

Classed as Renewed, slightly dusty and the auto focus did not work
The lens arrived in good time, it was packed ok, slightly dusty in the lens cap and thread of the lens. The lens was not smooth in operation as Nikon's are usually. The auto focus did not work at all.Shame it was not tested first, would have saved so much time and money, very disappointing.
