Unlike other sharpening oils, the Blade Tech Honing Fluid can be used with any sharpening stone or steel including diamond stones and steels, oil stones, water stones and whetstones! As this is a water based product there will be no oily mess as with sharpening oils meaning that the residue can be simply wiped off or rinsed with clean water. Please note that due to the Blade Tech Honing Fluid being a water based product, it cannot be used in conjunction with natural stones if they have previously been used with an oil.
