Vitamin D3: Today's Best in Contemporary Drawing Paperback – September 14, 2022

The media could not be loaded. This book is beautiful, and the title is absolutely correct, “Vitamin D” for a daily dose of drawing. It’s a collection of various artist profiles and examples of their art. It’s full of great drawings. I got it for my own inspiration, and it delivers. It’s a larger coffee table size. The paper is off-white and matte and the print quality is excellent. Solid choice for those who like drawing and art.

Very nice compedium of a variety of contemporary drawing. Nice layout. Easy to read. Nice color illustrations. And it is a lot of book to look at. It is something I will use as a resource - not just a quick read and on the shelf.

This book, which was a stretch to buy, is just the kick in the butt I needed to realize that drawing is so many things, and yes, that’s the skill I aim to develop. Amazing, talented and diverse work from around the world, approaching a huge variety of subjects, it’s like a manual on what drawing can be and the power that good drawing holds.

A striking look at drawings from around the world! I was trained in realism but amazed at the creative efforts from these artists. The book shows and rivals painters at expressing intelligent feelings about the world the artists inhabit. Well worth the money!

This is a big, heavy book with high quality paper. It is really cool. I didn’t find the artists as interesting as the first book though. This book seems to have more formal and less conceptual consideration than the first Vitamin D book.

I own both Vitamin D1 and D2, and like them, Vitamin D3 I an excellent and diverse survey of drawing practice around the globe.

Great book on contemporary drawing today. Beautifully illustrated!
