This is not a quality knife.

This is not a Spanish quality knife. The knife I received was a brand new knife but it had small miscellaneous scratches on the blade, the WOOD handle ( not micarta as advertised) was poorly made as depicted by the uneven finished handle slabs in the photos, and this knife is hollow ground instead of saber ground as advertised. Don't waste your money; buy a tops, becker or esse knife for the same money.

Spanish Quality

I bought this for a hiking / camp knife. The price is right for a quality Europeanproduct.Pros: Tough as nails military design, good easy to sharpen carbon steel blade is coated for rust reduction, fire steel in handle, sheath has several carry options and room for some extra gearCons: Heavy, not for Backpacking, sheath has odd closing system,Overall I'd give this knife a 4.5Aitor makes great products I've beenvery happy with everything I've boughtover the years. This is a para militaryknife and made to be abused and neglected. I think if you take reasonable care of this tool it may last a lifetime.

Unique spin on a survival-Bushcraft knife

The steel is their famous Inox steel it is combo of carbon and stainless steel that I have found to be very tough. Quality of knife is excellent, I think could demo a house with this. Sheath is ok well made I’m just not a huge fan of nylon sheaths

Aitor Zero Knife

This is currently my first choice for the various tasks requiring knife work: gardening, landscaping, camping/canoeing. It is of Spanish manufacture, sturdy, reliable, and holds a very good edge. I have had it professionally sharpened once. It has a quick release feature on a swivel belt component of the sheath. Because of this I can ride a tractor and the sheath simply moves away from my leg into my lap or slightly behind me--very convenient and safe. It compares favorably to my other knives in that it is sturdy enough to dig with and useful in splitting kindling for fire making. It feels nearly indestructible in the hand and comes with a screw in flint so you can always build a fire. I also own a Condor "Varan" knife which is 13+ inches in length. Additionally, I own the B.O.B. bushcraft knife and the BK-2, the KA-BAR from CUTCO (the Explorer), and the Seal Pup from SOG. The Varan is easily the best for baton-style wood splitting. The B.O.B. does the best detail work. The BK 2 is probably the strongest but the sheath is poorly designed and should be replaced--so it sits in a locked drawer. The Seal pup is smaller and good for actually being out on a canoe trip where I pack as little as possible. The Cutco Explorer is a monster and I beat it up the most because Cutco will replace it unconditionally. The Aitor Zero can do all of the above tasks and is a military grade weapon/tool often utilized by various groups in Europe. It is hard to convey how sturdy the Zero is. You have to hold one. I hope this provides some insight into the quality of this fine knife. It is well worth 100 dollars, rather a value in my opinion.
