Amzing Bang for the Buck!
Everything about this pedal, from order to delivery to playing it on stage was flawless. The plate reverb gives you so many sonic opportunities. Coupled with the delay, well, you get the picture...very awesome. Price was reasonable and, in this regard, the Sonicake Levitate way over delivers. Its super user-friendly too.All the controls do exactly what you expect them to do. I definitely recommend this solid-built pedal to anyone.

Excellent Preamp/Drive pedal
This is a review of the Sonicake B-Factory Bass Preamp pedal.I've been looking for quite some time for an inexpensive pedal that I can use for recording and to replace my outdated Eleven Rack. This is the first pedal that I believe I could take to a gig or jam and plug into front of house. I've been using it since I got it plugged directly into a mixer, which goes to a pair of 12" FRFR amplified speakers. One thing, the switchable drive circuit only operates when the preamp is enabled. The drive circuit gives the bass just enough snarl so it doesn't disappear into a recording mix. For applications or recordings requiring a pure bass tone, the preamp definitely delivers. With my Precision Bass and the preamp, I can get tones that sound very close to an upright bass. This isn't set up to emulate multiple amps. Without the drive circuit, you get a very clean bass signal, reminiscent of the late 60's Bassman amp/cab rigs (not the older tweed model). With the drive engaged, it sounds more like an SVT. But you can probably find something you like with the tone combination and judicious use of the drive circuit. The only negative I've found with it is the output doesn't appear to adjustable enough to replace the preamp on a bass amp. I've hooked it up to my old Bassman 100 solid state amp through the power amp input, bypassing the amp's internal preamp and while the sound quality is excellent, it just doesn't have enough signal to fully drive the amplifier. It would be nice to have a switch so the 1/4" output could be changed from instrument level to line level.I'm very happy with this and highly recommend it to others.

Good value.
This is for the Sonicake Levitate. The reverb is, well a $50 reverb. It works well as long as you don't over do it with the reverb tails. At least for me the long tails sound a bit too bright and artificial but that's a subjective thing. The delay is a definite step up from the $20-$30 delays (probably based on the pt2399 chip). The delay does not go into oscillation at max feedback. The delayed signal degrades or is passed through a filter to give a vintage type sound. There is also a tap tempo feature which is a very cool capability. The best feature is that the delayed signal and dry signal have individual level controls. You can have the delayed signal as loud or louder than the original signal, or turn the dry signal all the way down and only hear the delayed signal.Overall well worth the $50. The reverb is good if not overdone. The delay is, well is there another delay with 2 second delay time at this price point? The pedal is well built and the pots feel like quality pots. Highly recommended for the quality to price ratio.

Great eq pedal I absolutely love it!
This is a really great eq pedal that really helps you control or find that really close to perfect tone. It's nice to have a analog pedal in your arsenal so you can quickly adjust on the fly. It's tonal accuracy adjustment is pretty spot on while it gives you a lot of ranges to adjust to your liking. I highly recommend this pedal for performance or just self educational purposes of understanding tonal ranges. The size is not too big yet not so compact just to keep in mind yet a great tool for ones pedal board.

Decent unit with some unfortunate shortcomings
If you're running a bass into this with no additional effects, this unit can work quite well. After toying with it for a few days, though, the limitations became clear. With effects, it seemed like the preamp distorted pretty easily. The overdrive was nothing special. The EQ was adequate but disappointing in the end. It seems easier (and cheaper) to just buy compressor, drive and EQ pedals and run them into a DI.

Affordable and functional acoustic guitar preamp
I had an expensive BOSS VE-8 Acoustic Singer that was a solid unit, but I simply wasn't using it enough for the price, so I sold it and replaced it with this much cheaper unit that focuses on being an acoustic preamp with some tone shaping capability. For its cost, this unit is built surprising well. It's not a particularly exciting piece of gear, but it does what it says. It boosts the signal of either low-output or passive acoustic guitar pickups, and allows you to make EQ adjustments to your signal. It also has a notch filter, which I don't fully understand, but basically is meant to dial out some of the unpleasant frequencies picked up by acoustic guitar pickups, such as string scraping. The unit is very solid, the knobs are firm and large enough to be easily adjusted, and I appreciate the XLR output for going directly to a PA speaker. Solid unit.

Surprisingly Good Eq
Like this equalizer very much. Small compact and does the job well with great changes noticed while moving the switches. Tone quality is very good which is helpful in shaping the sound. I wouldn’t mind paying more if it had banks to save several settings.
