Metra99-8218 Toyota Camry 2007-UP Dash kit,Gray

Looks great in my 2007 Toyota Camry! Many people have expressed surprise that my radio install was after-market. They thought my car came from the factory like this. Easy to install, very straightforward and does not look cheap. My double din Kenwood radio went in easily with no issues. My car is parked outside but after two years of use, this product has not faded or deteriorated in any way that I can see. It still looks brand new. I absolutely love Metra products. This is the third time I have used their products and I never have any issue with fit, feel or finish.

Installed this into my 2009 camry with a new double din head unit that I recieved for Christmas. Exact fit to the oem radio location and gives the aftermarket assembly a stock appearance. Everything was a perfect fit and color match was exact. I have installed plenty of radios through the years and this kit has been the most effortless to deal with.

Fits great for the 2010 Toyota Camry XLE. There’s no loose places after the installation and it’s the perfect fit. Looks nice with the car and the aftermarket radio fits perfectly in with the frame.

Used this kit to install an ATOTO A6 head unit into a 2010 Camry LE. You can see in the before and after photos that the kit ended up looking really good, but it took about 3 hours of clipping off plastic pieces, shaving plastic down, inserting diy spacers to get the head unit to fit into the install kit.The plastic on the install kit appears to be quality...didn't scratch easily given the number of times we installed and removed it.I used a Dremel with a cutoff wheel and also a sanding drum attachment to remove the excess plastic and deburr the edges where the plastic was removed. I had to make some spacers (I used wood as it wouldn't be seen) and drill some holes in the wood to fill the gap between the radio and the side brackets...I suppose some stacked washers would have served just as well. I needed to purchase four M5-0.80 x 12mm bolts to secure the bracket sides to the head unit, as the ones provided weren't long enough to go through the side pieces, through the spacer and into the head unit.At the end of the day the kit installed securely and looks good, and anyone with basic skills could do the installation, but in my opinion it's not for the faint of heart...4 stars for value/price and 3 stars for easy to install.

Not much to say about this dash kit. It fits perfectly in my 2011 Toyota Camry SE, the dash kit is a little flimsy and cheap feeling but it gets the job done and once everything is all installed it becomes pretty solid. Color matches perfectly to the stock HVAC control panel unlike other brands were the color could be different and not match 100%. I'm satisfied with metra and will not use any other brands.

Affordable. Ordering from Amazon was about 60 bucks cheaper than in store purchase.The surface plate matches my interior of my dashboard, just below the area of the radio is a little storage area. But if your hands are big, like mine, you are going to have trouble retrieving small items.The only draw back to the dash kit is that the face plate falls in and will not remain flush. That makes it a pain if you use the detachable feature on your radio. The plate is really close to the button which allows the radio to unlock and detach. Also, putting your radio back in sucks.Other than that it meets my needs.

Perfect fit.The kit was a perfect fit and was an easy install.I followed the directions exactly as stated and had no issues installing this kit.The color matched perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the result and the stability of this install.Some of the directions can seem a little sketchy, but just go with it and it will all come together in the end.

Very good color match good fit in the dash i found a few scratches out of the box but overall good .

The panel colour is a bit off, but this worked in my car without any hassle.
