It felt rushed and I didn’t finish it!

I love the first Volume but this was the most boring Volume I’ve read and I didn’t even finish it. Like read over half of the volume then gave up. Don’t get me wrong the art is amazingly beautiful, but it’s like he put more thought in the art instead of the story line and dialogue. He makes some his characters speak wayyy too awkward or proper. *Spoiler* He killed off a character way too early to let his audience have a connection. The way the storyline, rules, and technology were explained could’ve been better like in Naruto, kishimoto had Naruto clueless to some essential ninja basics so they had Sakura explaining and if they didn’t get they would have humorous moments. I feel that a lot of people in his manga are either too serious or boring. And I know the manga is based around serious situations and it introduces a lot of characters, but it felt rushed into one day. Like why not show the main characters and the world it’s placed in a peaceful state to where we get to know the characters and some of the backstory and a few weeks later, there’s a threat to the peace. I don’t have any feelings towards any of the characters and if they died I wouldn’t care except Mikael because he reminds me of Kakashi. In Naruto, Naruto almost got killed in the first episode (I think) *Spoiler* but a whole dang army fleet didn’t after him or attack his country in the same day. Too many people were introduced...

A solid work

Like all comics it gets better as it goes on, same here with Vol 2. After the 1st you get a solid enough understanding of the world and main characters and then a new challenge pops up. I'd love a vol 3 to keep reading! You know what if you're a comic artist I think you should pick this up to reference what you want to do with comics. I took quite a bit of notes after reading 1 and 2 and try to be mindful as I do my own art. It's a fun read but I also found it to be a good resource to reference art-wise.

It’s even better than volume 1!

I approached volume two with excitement and high expectations because volume one ends on a cliff hanger. I was not disappointed! Whyt (Odunze Oguguo’s alias) has out done himself with the writing in this volume. The main antagonist has substance and morals so he’s not just going around killing off the protagonists for the sake of doing it. Characters that were glossed on in volume one are getting polished in this volume, and we get to see Sano in action even more. I really like the antagonists they all have a great sense of what their mission is and how it should be completed. There was major planning and strategizing when the Whyt decided to approach this volume. The only issue I had with the volume was that it was slightly shorter than the first, and that’s not even a real problem. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. FOR. VOLUME. THREE!!!

Great Art, Bad Pacing...

So I read the 1st volume and enjoyed it. Then I read volume 2 and didn’t enjoy it as much as volume 1. The art is great as usual and the action is cool. But I guess that’s just it - it’s all action. After identifying my problem with this volume I took another look at volume 1 and noticed some things with the plot developments that occurred that I initially didn’t realize. I liked the world building we got, but then we got thrown into some mid game level events before really getting to know the world and its characters. Fast forward to the events of volume 2 - coupled with the slow release schedule for volumes and chapters in the SatAM publication - and my enjoyment of the series takes a plummet. If you’re a fan of pretty art and cool action then this is the story for you. If you’re a reader who prefers slower paced and carefully crafted storytelling, character development, and world building, like me, then this may be the last volume you purchase of this series, my friend. To sum it all up:The Good: - Great art - Cool characters - Interesting worldThe Bad: - Serious pacing issues - Very slow release scheduleOverall: An interesting world with cool characters that suffers from poor pacing in favor of well done action set pieces and the occurrence of heavy handed events for the sake of shock value. (If you haven’t read it yet you’ll see what I mean). The heavy drawback of the snail’s pace release schedule doesn’t do this series, or any other SatAM title for that matter, any favors either.Score: 2/5

Great addition to the series so far

Great addition to the series so far. The book itself may be shorter as well as the pacing being faster, but the art looks like its getting better and I've noticed more use of tones in this volume. There aren't as many typos in this volumes as well. The only downside for me overall was having the book arrived with its covers bending as if it was already read. Never the less, still a great read and worth picking up. Also some intriguing character development towards the end.

Brilliant story

I admire the creativity that flows in every panel. The creator can draw and he knows how to weave a story pack with action and suspense.

Amazing content!

I've been following the artist/author, Whytmanga, since I was in high school. Since then I had anticipated the release of his first official manga series, and let me tell you, it does NOT disappoint! The art is immaculate, the story is well devised and executed masterfully, and the panel layouts are very well designed. All in all it's a must read, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone that loves manga/comics.

Banburi Rebels run the show now!

Great improvement over the first already good 1st volume; the art becomes phenomenal and we get a better picture of what the story will be about.Characters such as Neon and Helena also get more pages; that's always good. I also liked those bits of characterization sprinkled within all the intense action. My main criticism would still be the *very* fast pacing the story is going, especially considering all the new characters introduced here, but it's much less of an issue for this volume. There's still a few little editing errors here and here, but nothing that distracts from enjoying the volume. Great indie comic overall that stands out a lot!''Vivement le 3eme volume!''
