Ticonderoga makes solid pencils that write smoothly and clearly. They are #2 pencils, so they are what most elementary schools require. I got the pastel pencils for my 4th grader. They are different than the regular yellow ones the rest of her class uses. She likes them because they are pretty. I recommend the pastel Ticonderoga pencils because they are easy to use, attractive, sharpen evenly, and erase cleanly.

As a teacher Ticonderoga pencils were always the best. They are easy to sharpen, the lead does not break easily, and the lead is centered correctly in the pencil. Because of this these pencils last longer and are a better value over time. These pastel colors are so fun for our students. They love them and like using them.

These pencils are seriously pretty. The colors really pop and you can tell these are sturdy pencils. They’re really easy to write with and they sharpen perfectly. Also the price is really a steal. I absolutely recommend them for back to school.

You can never go wrong with this brand of pencils! They are bright and colorful! Pre-sharpened and easy to sharpen when needed. Great quality, lead very rarely breaks and I have never seen this High quality of a pencils break in half. Purchasing the bright colors in a smaller pack does cost a bit more, but they are fun and bright!
