I am a big Pixar fan and personally love this set of postcards. They’re very good value for money considering you get so many and they come inside a lovely flip box. The postcards are all standard postcard size and have plenty of space on the back for a message/address/stamp (although nobody will be receiving any of mine in the post as I’m keeping them all for myself!).The set includes lots of postcards from Pixar Shorts (28 in total). I love Pixar Shorts and feel they’re generally quite underrated, so appreciate this inclusion.Some may be disappointed at the variation - the only feature length films that are included are Toy Story (24), Monsters Inc (11), Finding Nemo (8), Cars (8), A Bugs Life (11), and The Incredibles (9). I guess this is because the set was originally published in 2005 so many Pixar films were still to come! If you’re more interested in more recent Pixar then The Art of Pixar: Volume 2 may be of more interest.Most of the postcards consist of film images, concept art and storyboards. I know the concept art won’t be to everyone’s taste but I really like it and appreciate everything that takes place ‘behind the scenes’ and how things come to be. The film images are all bright and lovely too. There are a couple of Japanese film posters which are pretty cool and a few pieces of general art which are nice (particularly The Incredibles family vacation photograph and ‘Welcome to Radiator Springs’ sign).All in all I’m happy to recommend to Pixar fans. It’s a nice little set for my collection, is fun to flick through and I’ve even framed a few.

I received this item this morning and what can I say? Absolutely beautiful product. The box itself is very good quality and is very aesthetically pleasing. When I first opened the box and took out the cards, I was surprised at just how high quality they are. They're made from sturdy card, and have a very nice matte-like finish to them. Each card was a treat to look at, with a mixture of movie stills to concept art ranging from Pixar's short films such as 'Red's Dream' to their feature films like 'Toy Story' and 'Monsters, inc'. If you're a fan of Pixar, I'd definitely recommend this product, especially for the price... well worth it! Although they do work as postcards, and you can scrawl on the back of them and send them to your family and friends, I'm happy just having them sit in their little box as a constant source of inspiration whenever I need it.

What a lovely package! The postcards are good quality and come in a lovely box. Great value, some are definite keepers, some will be sent to friends just to keep in touch and my kids have used some as birthday cards for their friends. A lovely set of postcards, some are line / pencil drawings, some are stills from films, including some of the lesser known Pixar movies.

I love these! The post cards are beautiful, and of a nice quality card. The pictures range from concept art and story boards to movie stills and other related artwork in a variety of styles. There are post cards from all sorts of pixar films, including the animated shorts. When I found the postcards for 'Reds dream' and 'Luxo Jr' I was over the moon with happy nostalgia. They also come in a very nice box. I hope the people I am sending them too will be as happy receiving them as I was just looking at them, I'm considering keeping some for my wall or something.

I bought this along with the second volume so that I could send them to my sister, my sister has this one and I have the second one, the cards are sturdy and have great art work on them and I love using them would buy them again definitely.

Yes its 100 real postcards. Actual postcards which can be posted through the mail, space on the back for address and message plus a few words about the subject. The quality is quite good, better than some postcards but still not especially thick. A nice sturdy box though.Not all these illustrations will be familiar to the everyday movie viewer but an afficionado will appreciate everything. Good present for a child I suppose.

Really nice gift for any pixar fan.

I can't say enough good things about these. Firstly, there are some cards which are not as good as the others. For example, I have no interest in Cars, but the others more than make up for it. The concept art cards for Monsters Inc were worth the price of the set in my opinion. Some of the cards I will have framed, the others I will send in the mail or give to friends. With 100 postcards, you have a lot of options!
