Civil PE Practice Exam: Geotechnical Depth Version A

Passed the PMP on the first try. Highly recommend.

I purchased this as part of my preparation for the Civil: Geotechnical PE Exam in October, 2019. It provides some good practice, particularly if you're just beginning to study. The types and distribution of questions is similar to what's on the actual exam, but they're generally easier and less time-consuming to solve.I also found about 3 errors in the questions and/or solutions, which I made PE Prepared aware of. They were very responsive and assured me that the errors were corrected as they were pointed out and that they do their best to correct them in print as soon as possible.

This book is extremely helpful for the civil geotechnical PE exam, hopefully they gonna publish other versions as well

Lot of good information

Has a number of good concepts that are good for knowing for the CBT Geotech, but authors do not provide sources for their references in the solutions. When the authors note references they generally state: "values of [xyz] are widely published and depend on [xyz]. Then they give a formula they obtained from seemingly outer space. It contains multiple errors, leading answers and formulas provided to be sketchy at best.Ultimately outdated for the CBT. Will be VERY OUTDATED by April 2024.Good for additional problems if needed, but save your money and find something else.
