OXO Good Grips Kitchen & Herb Stainless Steel Scissors, Silver/Black

These scissors are very good. The blades are sharp, the handles are big and easy to grip. Being able to separate them for cleaning is great design. They never come apart by mistake but are always easy to undo when required.

Fantastic scissors , sharp and feel very sturdy, easy to clean . well worth paying the little extra for.

I was impressed by the good solid feel of these scissors, and as far as cutting is concerned they are certainly as effecient as any I've ever used, and better than some; very sharp and with a decisive and no nonsense cut.Where I think they are let down slightly is in the grip, which feels awkward and uncomfortable, the hand does not naturally accomadate to the hard grip. Also In use I immediately thought the blades were a tad short, the scissors would definitely be more useful being just that little bit longer.The fact the scissors come apart didn't overly concern me until I washed them; they fell apart immediately, and it was disconcerting. However they are intended to after all, and it obviously made washing them more effecient. In use they have fallen apart only once.The critisisms have taken up an unfair amount of this review, and are relatively minor. The scissors do what they are intended to do it very well indeed. They are a good solid sharp pair of scissors, they could just be a tad better.

Absolutely the best kitchen scissors I've ever possessed. Take care not to slice up the wash up sponge or tge tea towels. I wouldn't put in our dishwasher, fearing that they would lose their sharpness. They cut chives and other herbs like rosemary, thyme, or mint easily and perfectly, they trim fat etc off chicken thighs, pork chops or loin chops. They separate so easily for washing and after drying fit back together easily again. The scissors feel just right in my hands, despite my osteoarthritis I can use them without any pain or problem. I use them for so many other kitchen cutting tasks and they surprise me every time with their fantastic sharpness which actually makes a cutting instrument much safer, I think.

Bought this to replace my old kitchen scissors. It's the best I have ever used, very robust. Comes apart for easy cleaning.
