Well built, sturdy and great value.Don't bother reading all reviews on the more flimsy designs, this is properly welded and will last.It doesn't come with fixings so I used M8 Rawlbolt shield anchors (see second pic)for attaching to a brick wall.It's heavy to try and lift, position and mark your drill holes up a ladder, so I made a template from cardboard to help.Netting is good, it's outside so I expect the UV light to eventually catch up on it but heyho, that's small potatoes.I'm impressed with it, plus it'll keep all those kids/families who have recently watched "The Last Dance" dunking for a while to come...just like big Mike...😂

I used this rim to make a mini court in my garden, and it has held up extraordinarily. I’m very happy with this product, it had a very good delivery time, and I pretty much play with it everyday. I would highly recommend this Rim.

High quality hoop, amazing, no issues

After my son getting the basket ball bug and managing to break the welds on a couple of flimsier 'toy' hoops through heavy use, I was looking for something sturdier. As other reviewers have stated this is a fantastically strong and robust hoop which is easily capable of putting up with a punishing practice regime. This is the official 18 inch diameter size - it is big and heavy - with 12 net hoops for attaching a net.There are no fixings (nuts and bolts etc.) to attach the hoop to the wall or backboard, but I wasn't expecting any. Like the hoop itself the fixing bracket is made of strong steel and has holes large enough to take decent bolts, which you are going to want hold this up. The bolt holes were in a rectangular pattern on mine, 3 inches wide and 2.5 inches high. I made a quick template for drilling the backboard from the cardboard box the hoop was delivered in and attached it to the backboard with large coach bolts and washers.The only downside (and hence the missing star) is that if you were expecting a net - and you should be because it says in the description that it includes a net! - you are going to be disappointed. Mine came without a net. Just the hoop. I had an old net already and needed the hoop so I didn't send it back, but you'll need to make up your own mind: It is a great hoop and excellent value for money but potentially factor in the purchase of a net too.

Excellent quality strong and heavy weight once this is up it will be there for years to come shame it never had the fixing bolts but not a problem m8 expansion bolts will do the trick

Good ring. Much better quality than the one that came with the sureshot 514ap system. Also it is not compatible with the 514 as claimed in description. Disappointed with sure shots original - more like one you would have found in a 'lucky bag'.
