I'm guessing at the accuracy, but I've been following a ketogenic lifestyle for a month now, and these strips show I'm in the perfect range of ketosis, just short of going into ketoacidosis. However, I'm visiting my G.P. tomorrow to discuss my lifestyle change, as I picked up on this as a good lifestyle for epileptics, as I am one. A great side effect is the weight loss, but this is NOT a typical diet. It's more a lifestyle change. It's also increased my energy levels, helped my arthritis and inflammation and leaves me feeling sated. I've also noticed I'm not feeling as down as I was previously, so I'll be discussing my 'diet' epilepsy, depression and future medication requirements tomorrow, as well as requesting blood work tests for ketones, glucose, cholesterol and insulin levels etc. Better safe than sorry. I'll update when I get my results back.

After deciding to try a Keto diet for weight loss, combined with an app to log every gram of food I consumed, I used these sticks to confirm I was in ketosis. They varied a bit in colour (not sure why due to strict measures of allowances) but overall was a good indicator. Decided to drop the diet after 3 weeks though. Too many negatives to outweigh the slow and unpleasant weight loss.

No, they are not as accurate as a blood test but they also don't cost anywhere near as much either. You get more than enough strips to monitor your ketosis and although the results given aren't as detailed as a blood test either; the colour on the strip changes and then you match it up with the colour code on the box or bottle, they do work. I, like other buyers, have experienced varied results where one minute you're in ketosis and the a few hours later you're completely out of it. I think that this is from using the mid-stream method, i.e. peeing directly onto the strip. Yes you will get results but i don't feel they can be trusted. The product itself suggests testing just the first urination of the day to get an accurate representation of your ketones but i think i have a better suggestion. you can use any times urination you want but instead of peeing directly onto the strip, catch some into a small container. Here, i do catch just the middle of the stream, letting the start and end go on its more natural journey down the toilet. Then i just put the strip into the container and hold it there for a approx 3 second, give it a little swirl whilst i do being careful not to touch the bottom or the sides of the actual container - don't want any contact contaminants. Instead of shaking the excess off, which i think dries it out before it can do its thing, i treat it more like a spoon in a cup of tea and give it a little knock on the edge. This leaves enough to be absorbed and tested yet not too much where it's just dripping. Leave it rest for approx 10 - 15 seconds and you'll get a better, more accurate result that way with a much deeper colour to compare to the colour guide. Look, they do work and yes it's a little more fiddly and doesn't give you exact information like a blood test and you might even get a dud now and then (i haven't since doing my method) but they are cheap and do the job. If you're really serious about keto and you have all the cookbooks, read all the articles and have decided that it's going to be a lifestyle and not just a few months diet to shed those extra layers; then you've already decided to get the blood tester. If you just want to know if you've reached ketosis and don't want to prick your finger every day or so - then these strips will do the job for you. If you don't like them then try another brand - they're all in the same price range but this product in particular does work and does what it promises. Can't say fairer than that. Plus it means for men you get to pee into a container and if you can't turn that into a game no matter what your age, then i'm afraid there's no help for you.

This is the second pot of these I've had.. they work but the color change on the strip never matches the chart so it's had to tell what sort of level of ketosis you're in. It turns a shade of pink so you know you're in ketosis but that's about it. I'll spend a bit more money in future and buy something a bit better

I am extremely disappointed with these Just Fitter Ketone Test Strips. I ordered them on 13 July 2026, only to discover that the expiry date is 12 September 2026—less than two months from the date of purchase. The bottle also states a manufacturing date of 13 September 2024, meaning these strips had been sitting in storage for almost two years before being sold. Ketone test strips have a limited shelf life once purchased, and I expected to receive a product with a reasonable amount of time remaining before expiry. Selling a product with such a short remaining lifespan without making this clear at the point of sale is very disappointing and poor value for money. I cannot recommend purchasing these unless you’re certain you’ll use them all before they expire. I expected much better quality control and stock rotation from Just Fitter.

Came quickly in adequate packaging. I got a couple of emails from "Just Fitter" explaining how to use the product, included a video link too. Real easy to use - just pee on the stick! Wait 15 seconds then compare its colour to the colour code on the box or the bottle. I had been on a ketogenic diet for the previous 2 months coupled with IF. The colour of my stick was the darkest on the code - well into ketosis and therefore showed me that it was possible to eat more carbohydrates than I had been. Have lost 25kg in the past 5 months. I bought these testeurs to see if I was in ketosis as this is the first time I have followed a ketogenic diet. Though it is said that test strips are the least fiable for testing your ketone levels, it was enough for me and I am very pleased with my purchase, especially at the price I paid.

It’s worked fine every day as a general indicator that I’m in Ketosis. It can be difficult to tell the exact colour compared to the box, but it’s a good cheap way to see your hard work is paying off when it’s got any colour at all. An expensive digital meter is still required for a precise measurement though

I began a keto diet at the beginning of the month and was instructed to buy some keto ironies test strips. Being that I was new to this diet and testing I was unsure of what to buy. I got these because they were indeed the cheapest that I saw. When they got to me, I saw that the container has a QR code on top for an informative little video. The side has a graph that you can match your test to. Ultimately I feel that these work well and would buy again.
