Apple iPhone SE 3rd Gen, 64GB, Midnight - T-Mobile (Renewed)

Bought this phone recently as a spare device for a vacation trip - was able to add an eSim easily, and take lots of beautiful photos with the camera. The phone arrived in great condition (minor to no visible defects, very light/hardly noticeable micro-scratches on the glass surface) and has worked flawlessly so far. The shipping was fast and the phone came well packaged, with an extra off-brand charger included.Very happy with this purchase! My one complaint is that the battery seems to drop fairly rapidly when actually in use (came with about 86% battery life status) - its possible this could be mitigated by looking into settings/app usage/services/etc, or usage with external portable battery pack, though inherently it also just makes sense for a used phone battery quality to degrade over time also.While I appreciated this seller and product purchase experience, always be mindful that buying devices second-hand can be a bit of a toss-up. This is my second attempt to purchase a used iphone through amazon - the first time, the device screen display was glitchy, and even with free returns it takes time and resources to print out the shipping labels/repackage the product/find a drop-off point, and sellers do not refund initial product shipping fees. If you have an event or usage date in mind in the near-term, keep in mind that its also hard to understand the reliability of a device prior to actually receiving and using it for a bit.Truthfully if the iPhone SE was still available for retail purchase I likely would have strongly considered simply buying one new for ease of mind and to know I'm getting the best quality/battery/etc, but given the performance so far, and price of this product at time of purchase compared to the next lowest cost option from apple, for about 1/3 the cost I think this was a very solid purchase.

I love the Apple IPhone SE because I love finger print recognition and the size!I wanted this new IPhone SE as a backup to my first as figured Apple would never be smart enough to produce an updated version of the model with fingerprint ID and of the same size.So, I decided to order a relatively new or refurbished SE.Wow! The new ones still in original packaging went so fast I couldn’t even finish my order!!!Then I knew I had to get either a refurbished or renewed SE.This was my 3rd attempt to get just such an IPhone SE, 2022, 3rd gen, 256gb, RED and fully unlocked!!!The first phone I received was the right color, the 2022 SE 3rd gen, in decent condition but was NOT UNLOCKED!!!! And Apple told me there was nothing they could do to help me!!! Back it went!The next IPhone SE 3rd gen, while unlocked, was WHITE not the RED I had ordered and had scratches everywhere! Back sides and the screen!It too went back!The third time was a charm!!!My latest IPhone SE 3rd gen, 256 gb is not only like NEW, but fully unlocked and RED! It has over 85% battery capacity and looks brand new and is RED!!! I was amazed at how pristine it was, so much so it has become my primary SE and my old one is my backup.My hope is that someday Apple will see how great the popularity of, and demand for, the SE is and they will upgrade its performance and reintroduce it to the market for those of us who like touch Fingerprint ID and like a compact phone that fits in your shirt or ski jacket pocket!!!I couldn’t be happier with my newly renewed SE phone or the seller!!!

Overall, I am satisfied with the phone. The only thing I would say is that I don't agree with its label as being labeled in "excellent" condition. I think, "Very Good" would have been more appropriate as there were a few small scratches on the screen, and some scuffs on the bottom. Other than that, my only other gripe is that the battery doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long. I have to charge it every other day, and I'm not a hard core cell phone user.It was unlocked as advertised, and overall it is a great phone. I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy 10+ so the size is quite an adjustment for me, but I'm actually glad not to have that beast in my pocket now.I am worried about the life of the battery. It already seems at half life so for that I cannot give a full five stars.

This applies only to the "Shipped and Sold by Amazon" version of this phone. I can't vouch for the other sellers, as there is a huge list of them, probably with varying degrees of refurbishment.The phone I got looks brand new, and has 100% battery health. It even came with a charging cord, which was nice (a lot of renewed/refurb products do not come with the cord). Honestly, I can't really complain about anything!

Got forced to buy a new phone, I had the SE 1st gen for over 10 years and the OS would not up date and all the apps no longer worked. Bought this SE 3rd gen and it has worked great, have been using it for a month now. Everyone was complaining about battery issues but my phone works just like it should. I was a little bit leery of a "Renewed phone" but it was fine.

My wife's SE 2nd gen was aging poorly and the 64 GB she got was quickly filling up leaving her little space for pictures / vidoes. For the price, you can't beat this phone. It's not the fastest, but it's reasonable fast, and it has 5G.While not Apple's fault (and this review is on the item itself, not the condition of the refurb) this particular phone seems to have some minor damage to the charging port, so it will often come unplugged if you bump it (or near it), leaving you with a dead phone that you thought was charging. Not a huge deal - just had to double-check it was plugged in properly, and set it somewhere stationary while charging.
