This was relatively easy to assemble. Of course it is not solid wood - but it is well made. Three things I was impressed with -1) they include one extra of each piece of hardware (screws, special joining hardware...etc). This was not an accident as extra pieces were included in counts on instructions that show what should be included. I have assembled many items and this is a differentiator between super cheap items and inexpensive but well made items.2) they included a bottom board that had the faux finish on one side. This is intended to be installed with finish side towards the drawer interior - You really don't notice this surface when opening the drawer - but it was a nice touch.3) They included drawer stops for each drawer - so the drawer does not come all the way out and your items fall on the floor. The stops do not restrict access to drawer and it definitely comes out far enough to use the full drawer.The manufacturer could have skipped these things and saved some money - The fact that they chose to include them anyway makes their items a better quality than some other assemble yourself furniture items and I would not hesitate to purchase items made by this manufacturer again.

For the price, this is a steal. These extra storage drawers look nice and they’re really good quality. My 3yr old pulled one down and it crashed on the floor and it held together pretty well- just had to pop a side back into place, but no actual damage. The storage is minimal for clothes (I store each kids 3-4 swimsuits in one drawer and either gymnastic outfits or scarves/hair accessories in the other.) I also got some for my husbands office and they work great for office supplies/printer paper.

I got the light brown color of the two drawer box. However, the color is a light natural wood color, not brown. I would say it's similar to maple.This drawer looks really nice for the price. Since it's cheap, the inner wood is particle board with a wood laminate finish on top. I definitely would not submit this to any moisture or rough treatment. I could see the laminate getting damaged or peeling off if that happened.Even though the materials are cheap, the look is really nice. It has a modern appearance. And I love the light airy color that helps keep a room bright. It fit nicely under my printer and really improved the look of that area.My only complaints about the look are1) there are holes on the top where you can stack additional drawers. I didn't want to stack any, and the holes don't look great. While it isn't the biggest deal, I have some wood filler in Maple color that I might use on it.2) the back of the drawers is not the same finish as the front. It's that felt back that you often see on particle board. In other words, this will not look great from the back. So the back should be facing the wall. Again, not a big deal for me since I planned to have the back facing the wall anyway.The assembly was a bit more involved than I'm used to. I say this because part of the instructions involved using glue that they provided, and also you have to use your own screwdriver. You can definitely put this together with just a normal screwdriver, however I found it way more convenient to use an electric screwdriver to securely screw in some of the screws that took a bit more muscle. If I hadn't done that, some of it might be a little loose.I'm a pretty handy person, and this took me about one hour to assemble. The instructions provided were good. However I suggest when you start to first separate all the pieces and identify them according to the list on the front page. It will reduce your confusion later.Overall, I'm really happy I bought this. It really improved the appearance of my work area without having to spend much.

Shipping took a while, but it arrived nicely packaged and undamaged. Instructions were simple and easy to follow for assembly, and overall it is sturdier and nicer than I expected it to be for the price. It's obviously not solid wood, and if it gets wet it'll be ruined, so not suitable for use in high humidity or areas where it might get wet, but as we're using it to organize things on top of a dresser, this will work very nicely.It also came with one extra of almost every hardware piece in case you misplace them, which was nice. I think as long as you're not trying to store very heavy items in it (the load limit per drawer is 6lbs) or putting it someplace exposed to the elements, this will do quite nicely!

The back panels on shelves like these are usually cardboard. This one is not; it's a pressboard and solid.The shelves are easy to assemble and look great once in use. I used mine as a rack for my DVD player, Blueray player, and cable box.

These were covered in fiber glass or some sort of weird material I had to wipe off before handling. It got all over the counter I built it on and the floor. Really weird. I feel uncomfortable recommending it to others based on that alone.It otherwise seems to function ok. The drawers are smaller than I thought but I suppose that's my fault.So far it's working great to store my stuff.I took another star off because the back is not covered like it appears in the pictures. The back is an unfinished brown color.

I have three of them, they are great. The drawers are good sized, not like some of the tiny things I found elsewhere pretending. I can fit entire notebooks and even a small form factor PC in them without much issue. Stackable is great, because I can make the build a hutch for my desk even bigger with more space without losing usable desk space. I just can't find them anymore.
