A&B Home Wood and Metal Chandelier, 20.5" x 18" x 24"

There is no question that this is a unique and beautiful light. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well. I've read several comments that installation was difficult, but that was not my experience. However, we did swag the light, so I was able to hang it on the swag hook while I wired it up, so that probably made things a lot easier.I have two complaints about the light. First, and the most important, is that the wire coming from the light is black and sticks out like a sore thumb. Why would you use a black wire when the entire light and chain are a cream/antique white color? I ended up purchasing some Krylon Fusion Matte Clamshell spray paint from Lowe's and painted the cord. I allowed it to dry for several days before threading it through the chain and hanging it in order for the paint to get a good cure. My second complaint is that the final at the top of the light (where the cord comes out) is supposed to screw on, but the finial is a different size than the bolt at the top of the light and it would come off with the slightest tug. I ended up putting a small drop of clear Gorilla Glue to hold the finial on and it seemed to do the trick.Overall, I knock off one star for those two issues, but I would still recommend this light if you're going for a rustic/farmhouse kind of look.

I am so in love with this light. While I was surprised that it had a lot more gold to it then I thought it is gorgeous. We put it in the kitchen and I was worried that it would not provide enough light the 60 watt LED bulbs that we put in it give off a ton of light.It takes candelabra bulbs which can be purchased most anywhere. There is a 60 watt max. At first I did not see the screw in part where the bulbs went but I assure you that you don’t need some strange bulb.For the price I now have a “unique” statement piece in our kitchen that everyone who comes over compliments. I would totally recommend the seller and light to anyone looking.I read a lot of comments that said it was very difficult to install. We have done a lot of home improvement projects but are in no way electricians. It went up very easily. Hardest part was getting the ladder out of the garage.We did have to use an extra nut from the previous chandler that was existing. So if you’re replacing a light it’s not a big deal. Or you may need one extra but

I wavered back and forth on whether to buy this chandelier on line or not. Sometimes I think you have to see something to determine whether or not it will work or not. I finally took the plunge and ordered this once my husband and I mapped out the size. It is perfect for our dining room. We live on a canal in sunny FL, and what we had was a builder's grade chandelier that was just okay. This changes the entire look of the room. It's kind of coastal casual goes Joanna Gaines i.e., Fixer Upper. It is well made, but my husband cussed it putting it up, due to the design of the bezel or mount. It had to supported, wired and put in place, as opposed to being able to hang the lamp, wire and place the bezel/mount flush to the ceiling. But we overcame the challenge, got it hung, and sat back and had a cocktail. Love it. I see that it is no longer available - I hope A&B Home restocks, because it is a charming addition to your home if you like that casual, non modern look.

Installation was very tedious compared to any other light or ceiling fan I’ve dealt with. They clearly didn’t make user installation experience a priority. In order to install it by myself I had to take almost all of it apart and unwire the bulbs from the middle pipe so it was light enough to wire into the ceiling and the reinstall piece by piece in the air.After that hour or cursing the pantheon of God’s it looks great. The chain supplied is very long but I didn’t use any of it sonyoi can see in the pictures what it looks like at its shortest.I installed 60w equivalent daylight LEDs that were 500 lumens each. Looking at the lights themselves is painful but sitting beneath it is the nicest glow.All in all I would recommend this for the $250 I paid.

I looked for a chandelier for eight months. This would be something I would be living with for a long time so it wasnt a decision to be made lightly. This was the first one I saw that I absolutely fell in love with. But I wanted to be sure I was making the right decision so I kept looking and looking and looking. Finally just decided that since I kept going back to this one it must have been the one. So happy I made that decision. It just totally completes my French country dining area. The color and the style abd size couldn't be more perfect. And since it is one of the first things you see when you walk into my condo it was very important that it have that wow factor. It definitely does.

I can't recommend this chandelier more! It takes standard candelabra bulbs, I spent awhile figuring this out even though it's probably common information, so just fyi. It matches our dining room perfectly and has a rustic, French country look to it. We did not have electrical in the ceiling and it was a couple hundred to have installed but done in a few hours with a dimmer. The bulbs did not say dimmable, but just another fyi, they most likely all are. We actually purchased 2 chandeliers prior to buying this one and I was unsure about them and this one was a last minute purchase and thanks to Prime arrived and was installed within 3 days total. Came wrapped perfectly and we paid a ton more for the other two that I didn't like as much so I couldn't be happier and highly recommend.

I would have given this a full five stars except it came in snapped in two different places. The wood part feels very soft and easy to break. I noticed that the light wasn’t packaged very well considering how brittle the wood part seems. I wanted to hang the light before a party that I was having and didn’t have time to go through the process of a replacement. Luckily my husband was able to repair the two areas without it being too noticeable. I will say that the light is gorgeous and I do get a ton of compliments.
