Two of Hollywood's most beloved stars, Cary Grant (Father Goose) and Doris Day (Pillow Talk), sparkle in a breezy, stylish comedy that's rich with romantic delights. Loves arrives with a splash when a handsome and eligible tycoon (Grant) and a beautiful working woman (Day) meet over an outside mud puddle. He's enchanted by her small town ways; she captivated by his romantic, debonair manner. But when it comes to marriage, they have decidedly different views - she wants it and he doesn't! What ensues is a game of cat-and-mouse as each tries to win the other - with hilarious and heartwarming results. The hilarious cast includes Audrey Meadows (TV's the Honeymooners), Gig Young (Young at Heart), John Astin (TV's the Addams Family) and Dick Sargent (TV's Bewitched) with a special appearance by New York Yankees legends Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris and Yogi Berra. Directed by Delbert Mann (Lover Come Back). Written by Stanley Shapiro (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Pillow Talk) and Nate Monaster (Call Me Bwana). Review: Can't miss if you like watching these hilarious movies - Great movie! You can't miss with Cary Grant and Doris Day. Review: The good Old days - Good old funny stuff.

Good movie
I love these period movies with some of the best actors and actresses to grace the big screen. Doris Day and Cary Grant fall into that category. This is very entertaining and I recommend it. Happy viewing!

Funny and adorable
How can you beat Doris Day and Cary Grant? The answer is you can't. These two legends are at the top of their game in this romantic romp. This great movie also includes Audrey Meadows as Doris' over protective friend, Gig Young as Cary Grant's well meaning assistant and even a very early performance of John Astin as a lecherous office worker after poor Doris. Get the popcorn and enjoy movies the way they used to be before foul language, graphic sex scenes and car explosions.

Fun Movie!!!
This was one of the first Doris Day Movies that I ever saw. It is also one of my favorites. It is a love story with a ton of comedy as Doris and Cary fall in love. The movie also stars Gig Young and Audrey Meadows as well as John Astin. Even though there is a lot of innuendo, there are no real nude scenes or cursing of any kind. Actually a pleasure to watch and not have to worry if you have youngsters around. Also, Beautiful gowns and clothing shown on Miss Day and the cast. Kinda makes me wish I was around during this time period. It is a classic and I believe the only time that Cary Grant and Doris Day were paired together.

โWell of course Iโve got my clothes on!โ
An odd movie for Doris Day in that she plays an unemployed woman willing to have an affair with the guy whose driver splashed her as he drove past. The idea of Doris Day as a โkeptโ woman is hilarious. Purportedly, Cary Grant hated this film. Rock Hudson was supposed to play the part but director Delbert Mann wanted Grant instead. Grant plays the part in an aloof fashion, as though he could have cared less one way or the other. As I am a Doris Day fan, this doesnโt bother me. Gig Young, Audrey Meadows, and John Astin are great as the comic relief. Gig Young alone is utterly priceless. Itโs a cute movie thatโs slightly inhibited. A fun frolic nonetheless.
