I love how soft it is and keeps your head warm and covers ears with ease, nice snug fit not too tight, already had its first outing on a windy day just great! Great bold colour, Would highly recommend for hill walking and cold weather. Worth what I paid for it 😄

Nice looking hat. Feels like great quality. Nice and soft to touch. The thickness is perfect for those cold days when you need a good beanie to keep your head warm. A trusted brand. The fit was a little large for my liking, but that's just my preference. A great beanie.

Unfortunately this item slipped though Rab's QA inspection un-noticed. as a consequence, after less than a months ownership and 5 wears, the hem is starting to become un stitched. This is very disappointing, particularly from a branded garment which "are designed for active outdoor use", according to their website. There is also evidence of this occurrence around the hem. I've reduced to one star due how quickly this issue occurred and because of the brand profile. Rab should not be allowing such poor quality to reach the market. Unfortunately when high profile/expensive brands outsource manufacturing to the lowest bidder, this is typically what happens. On closer inspection, the seam stitching appears to be in a better condition and the material quality is about par for this type of hat, offering reasonably protection from a cold wind. Provides a snug and comfortable fit, without that 'tight band around the head' feel often found in some hats, which also means it remains in place during high winds. This garment is not waterproof / resistant, but seems handle a short light shower, although likely not for long though. Interestingly the garment label includes a web site equipcn dot com, which i assume design and or manufacture. Another example why quality is not a priority in some countries responsible for the manufacture and supply of low value items. Whilst im not recommending buyers avoid this item, I am suggesting they do check they are getting the quality they expect/have paid for. Oh dear Rab. This should not have happened.
