Highly recommend!!!
Well balanced and smooth. The pedal drive responds immediately forward and backward. Very easy to put together. My only complaint is it didnt come with the tools to tighten the pedals. Other than that I highly recommend this product.

As advertised
Received the kayak a few days ago. Due to the size of they kayak, it was shipped via truck. No issues with delivery. Kayak was packaged very well. Pretty straight forward assembling it. Have not yet been in the water with it, but have been in a similar kayak. They are very stable.

Great example of getting what you pay for
Mixed feelings about this boat. Bought it at DSG and got a great deal, like almost half off. Otherwise I would’ve gone with a used oldtown Customer service is pretty poor. Had some issues and never got a reply. Would like to have gotten a manual with torque specs, as everything threaded seems to want to come off. Pros: it’s affordable Comfortable Super stable Cons: parts seem to want to fall off Drive poorly greased Loud grindy sounding drive Wish it had a front hatch and more rail space (can’t really use it as a handle if it’s got stuff attached..) Tips: loctite the pedal screws, get an extra knob for the pedal drive, and regrease the drive

Waste of time and money
This kayak is terrible. The threads on the pedal drive literally wore off of the pedal drive arm in less than a year, therefore the actual pedal can no longer be held in place to use. The pedal drive itself is loud, the rudder is weak and the rudder gear is hard to turn. The one pro is the kayak does float. Customer service sucks, if you file a claim for this garbage, they claim they are tooooooo busy from May-September that they can’t answer a claim request…that’s almost half the freakin year. What a joke…this kayak…and this company. Do NOT buy this, I’m saving you time and money. If I could give negative stars I would.

Kayak missing a part
Kayak arrived with a missing part, a few scratches and took longer then estimated for delivery. Hopefully the manufacturer will get the missing part and hardware shipped to us soon.
