Great Lightweight Cultivator
I think this is one of my best purchases this year. This is an efficient, lightweight cultivator that churns through the soil with little effort. I love that it's battery powered, no gas or extension cords to worry about. The manual says it will run about 40 minutes on battery, but it has lasted longer for me, but is generally plenty of time for my needs. This is not a tiller, it's a cultivator, not meant for big jobs (like tilling a big garden), but works great for weeding or light tilling, like when I just want to break up the ground to plant a bush or relocate a plant. I recently used it to easily break up an area that the year before I could not for the life of me even get a shovel through. I was relocating a huge hosta to an area that was not close to an electrical outlet and was too small an area for our big garden tiller, so having a battery powered tool like this was wonderful. It was very easy to put together with only a screwdriver - just screw the top and bottom poles sections together, put on the adjustable handle at the top, and the 4 tines at the bottom. I am not very handy and did not find it difficult. There's a safety feature / lockout button that turns off the cultivator if you let go of the trigger. It does require the tines to be cleaned out sometimes if it's breaking up new ground, but that happens with our larger tiller also. The battery takes maybe 1-1/2 hours to fully charge. Overall, this was a great purchase that I would highly recommend.

RYOBI Ryobi 18V Cordless Cultivator P2750
This cultivator does a nice job. There is a little learning curve using it, but it doesn't take long to figure it out. It has a very powerful motor with two speeds. I did not use the high speed because it would get away from me and I had less control. I use it between the vegetable rows to turn over the weeds/crab grass. This cultivator works well and does what I was hoping it would do.

Easy to use and well powered
A great cultivator with decent battery life. Most gardeners will probably want a second battery. Fairly light weight and very powerful. This is a real boon to raised bed gardening in particular. Its downfall is its handle. The inherent play in the thin handle base led to the handle breaking early on. An aftermarket universal handle marketed for weed eaters did the trick (only $9.99 on Amazon). With her new handle this baby and I are humming!

Great tool!
Bought this to remove sea grass and other weeds from our path to the beach and backyard. Sea grass is super strong and this thing cuts through it with just a little extra elbow grease. I have to stop to clean it out about every 20 mins so that it doesn’t get too cluttered with tangled weeds. You can go longer but then you’ll spend a considerable amount of time untangling the weeds. Would recommend for improved ergonomics and less effort with keeping a yard groomed

raised bed gardening
This tool worked very well in the raised garden beds to incorporate compost and kitchen scraps. It is lite enough to maneuver and powerful enough to do a great job. I tilled 6-4X8 beds and only used 2 bars of an 18 volt battery. I love this tool and recommend it to any gardener.
