Bali Blinds2" Faux Wood Corded, 27x64", White

These are a great value and were simple to install once I figured out the mistakes in the installation paperwork. To begin, it has you measure your potential screw sites which lines up nicely on the locations we chose. You then drill a 1/16th sized hole and use that to introduce your screw. We were installing these into the header of the window so our screws were into studs- which is great- but we ended up drilling a 3/16 hole to get the screws in (There was still PLENTY of resistance and grip). It took me quite a while to get those screws set with the 1/16th guide. sheesh!The second issue was when we would grab a screw to use, the heads were not centered (photo included shows the screw having a wider head to the right than the left)! With us working in a tight corner, those sideways screw-heads would either bend the screw or screw it in at an angle which was a beast in and of itself to remove because one was (easily) stripped and had to be gripped out.We threw away the screws included and used some that we had already purchased from Home Depot for a previous project and the first set was finally up... the second set took literally 10 minutes because we knew to abandon the bad screws and tiny guide (which included deconstruction of the original window treatment.My dogs have already gotten stuck in them several times (gotta see the neighbors!) and my toddler has been hanging his truck on them and they are holding up nicely in construction and in attachment to the window frame. 5 stars for quality, 3 for included equipment because of the screws being offset in both boxes, and 5 for final presentation.

I really like these blinds and how they look in our home!!! I took one star off only for three minor complaints:1) These are more difficult to install than the cheapo plastic mini blinds that we previously had thrown up and as a result, there is one top bracket on each blind installed that became slightly bent in the process. Not a big deal once you put the valance on.2) The screws provided weren't pointy enough to go into the dense wood of our older house, so we make somewhat of a pilot whole with a shaper screw. No biggie.3) The only thing that bothers me now installed, is that the valence pieces on each blind should be slightly longer and maybe even a smidge taller in my opinion to better cover the brackets. Not a deal breaker, but it is to me the only tip off that these aren't expensive real wooden blinds.Overall, for the price, I will probably buy again for other windows, but at $30 each it will be a slow replacement process.

The quality of the faux wood just wasn't very sturdy or reassuring. It feels almost like vinyl/aluminum in terms of how flimsy it is. The installation was a hassle and was not easy even with the phone support.

I bought 6 sets of these blinds and have been very pleased. They may be "faux" wood, but the panels have a slight wood grain texture and you really can't tell by handling them that they are not real wood.There are two sets of cords as is typical for this type of blind. One opens/closes the slats, the others raise and lower the shade. At first, I thought the open/close cords operated a bit stiffly... but I made some minor adjustments to the center support which MAY have been interfering with the cords, or they may have just needed some break in time. In any case, everything opens and closes smoothly now.I mounted the blinds above the window in valance boxes I built. I wanted to keep the blinds as close to the window as possible, so I removed the top trim piece above the window (since it would not be visible anyway). Added some sheer curtains as a finish. I'm pleased.

I really love the look of these blinds. I ordered 4 of them. My windows were 54" wide but they are old sliding windows. I had to buy two and mount them on the outside of the window on the actual frame. I replaced old mini-blinds in my new house with these and they really look nice when looking through the window. My only complaints are that the directions were very confusing with poor descriptions of the steps and one of my blinds ended up being faulty . It will not flip up like the others do. It was honestly too much trouble installing them that I didn't want to bother returning it for a replacement. Overall, I'm happy with them but would have appreciated better, more well-planned instructions to go along with the item.

These blinds are sooo nice for the price! I would expect to pay twice what these cost. I bought 3 sets of them. It didn't come with anchors so I bought some. Each set takes 10 screws to hang- 4 on each side and 2 in the middle. I wasn't bothered about using the brackets on the bottom, I think that would be useful if there was a breeze. My only complaint is the finishing topper should cover the full length of the track (and then some!). When it's affixed, there is about an inch of track on either side. Still, a beautiful set of blinds and great quality.

These were a shock to us, in a good way, not being "custom" blinds we were concerned, (having been in the business of interior design) we thought for sure there would be some problem with the order. But NONE. We ordered five of these for windows, inside mount, 23" by 64" bay windows. They are marvelous, in every way imaginable. We love them. Worth every penny and would highly recommend them. AND the best part, no waiting 4-6 weeks either. We got them in a matter of days.

I needed blinds or our short basement windows so I didn't want cordless blinds since they can't be shortened. These fit the bill great and although I hated that I had to get rid of about 90% of the length the price made it so I wasn't as bummed.
