The one I got was. I have had one on my Tempurpedic for sometime and decided to order one for my "fake Tempurpedic" guest bedroom bed. It seemed to be just the same. The protector is amazing because you barely know it's there. You still get the total effect of the mattress. I have spilled things on my bed and it doesn't leak thru to the mattress thanks to the protector. I totally recommend it.
