MX Cleaner (40 pieces) - Cleaning wipes for removing thermal paste, 11.5 x 11.5 cm, biodegradable

The essential oils have a very strong smell. I personally do not find the smell to be unpleasant, and I think most would agree. Smell may linger if you touch other things after handling pad but wipes up easily and no lingering smell once cleaned. I like to use my gloved hand to ball up everything when I’m done and remove glove with everything inside and straight to the bin. These work great I will say. Individually wrapped and ready to go, ez pz. Cuts thru old thermal paste quick and residue wipes up no problem afterwards, doesn’t get much easier. Will buy again.

I bought these because I do PC maintenance regularly for people and myself. It’s been a few years since I cleaned up my own PC and I knew the CPU needed fresh thermal paste. I use Arctic MX-4 and these are rated for the MX-4. When you open the package for the actual wipe itself, you get a barrage of the cleaner smell. I don’t mind it but people with sensitive noses might. It took two wipes to remove the old paste and I was clear to apply new paste. They work really well. Good product.

Anyone complaining about the smell should wear a mask. It gives me a headache after I accidently leave a pad or two out for a few hours and forget they were not thrown away. This is hands down the best solvent cleaner in the world for pads/years dried on crust/easiest to use/perfect quality/bang for the buck. One pad is enough for an entire antminer hashboard. This is the best alternative to an ultrasonic cleaner. Use any excess of the cleaner on the board with a soft toothbrush and finish with 99% alcohol.

These ARTIC MX wipes are the best for cleaning Thermal paste. Smells so good like lemon pledge 🍋. Cleans hands real good also. No lint either 👍💯.

Took 2 wipes to clean thermal paste off of my GPU and waterblock. These were effective but the smell was strong, and it lingered quite a while after use. Would recommend.

These wipes do an excellent job to help clean off thermal paste off my cpu. The size of the wipes are perfect and just enough to wipe and clean the messiest applications. Due note, that the smell is strong and may be too much for sensitive noses. Otherwise, a great option over paper and alcohol.

Bought these to help me clean off thermal paste since I recently built my first PC and then decided to clean/ refurbish a lot of my old gaming consoles as well. I did not trust myself to not spill a bunch of isopropyl alcohol, so I purchased these wipes. Holy cow, these work great! Even on old, dried out paste, you'll have components clean and only use one or two wipes! It dries quickly and leaves no residue. You can even wrap them around a q-tip to clean cervices and hard to reach areas. Only issue is the SMELL! Whatever these are fragranced with, it fills your whole house with the scent for days after you use them! I even tossed them in a dog poop bag and the smell STILL filled the house!

Would highly highly highly recommend wearing gloves when using this product. It works, but leaves an imprinting smell on your skin and items you wipe them with this. The smell last what seems like days before the odor disapates from anything you use this with.

J'ai utilisé ces lingettes hier soir pour enlever de la pâte thermique sur mon processeur et mon AiO Arctic. En fait, une seule lingette: elle m'a permis de nettoyer le processeur puis l'AiO sans problème, car le produit est très efficace et reste humidifié longtemps. Une première passe pour enlever le gros, une seconde pour nettoyer les grosses traces restantes et une dernière pour bien nettoyer le reste. Parfait! Le seul souci, c'est l'odeur forte de citron (du limonène en fait), mais bon, Arctic annonce que c'est pour préserver l'environnement qu'ils utilisent une huile essentielle naturelle et biodégradable, et ainsi, ne masquent pas l'odeur. Donc, on pardonne! (surtout vu l'efficacité pour le prix!). Merci Arctic!

I've been using Arctic MX Cleaner for years, but I have to say the new formula/new method is a game-changer. The old formula was okay but strong smell and it could be a bit finicky. With a new product , It's so much easier to use than every before! The Wipes are gentler on surfaces, and they dry instantly, leaving no streaks or residue behind. I can just wipe and go - no more fuss, no more mess. Highly recommended ! P.S I've even started using them on my kitchen hood and yes, I know it's not exactly what they were designed for...but you get what you pay for!

Es un gran producto, super higiénico y cómodo. Limpia muy bien las superficies y luego directamente puedes meter la toaillita dentro de la misma bolsa donde viene y a la basura. No tienes necesidad de comprar botes de alcohol aparte ni gaitas, y como poco te van a durar para 40 instalaciones. Sopesa durante un momento las veces que vas a instalar procesadores o cambiar la pasta térmica de la gráfica y decide si te compensa ;) Recomiendo limpiar primero el chip con una servilleta que no suelte partículas y luego ya le das con la Artic. Así evitas malgastar toatillas y te cunde mucho más. Tienen un fuerte olor a limón, aconsejo tirarlas a la basura en cuanto termines.

These things are a life saver & I do recommend. HOWEVER, the smell is VERY strong and can last quite a while if you are working in a room or place with no windows or proper ventilation. I have had to keep my doors and windows open for some hours to clear out the smell.
