HF motor on an old Lowes mower deck. The Lowes throttle cable junk plastic. This one METAL! Had to drill two new holes in the handle and also made the "L" crimp on the end of the cable so it would replicate the other one, had it up and going in about 20 min and a beer.

The outer sheath is a coil and acts like a spring should there be any, and I mean any (even the slightest) amount of resistance. This prevents the inner wire from moving back and forth like it should. Save your money and purchase something with a flexible solid outer sheath.Edit: After enough loosening of control surfaces I was able to make the cable work. Would still recommend other options over this.

Installed a new engine on a Troy bolt horse tiller. Replaced throttle cable with this one because I needed more length worked perfectly.

The most difficult piece of information to find was the length of these cables, which is 71". The solid wire cable and conduit can be trimmed to fit your needs.

Handle is a bit sloppy. Will go to full throttle but coming back to idle there is enough play in the connection that you manually have to move the throttle on the carb.
