I'm assuming these are "dried"? Do they retain their blue/green color? Would they be ok to use on a craft project, or will they rot eventually?

Just took a look at my juniper berries which are a deep purple/reddish brown color, certainly not blue/green as I see them. They are dry, so probably wouldn't deteriorate or spoil. Can't say how they'd hold up in a craft project, but my guess is that they'd remain stable.

no, not sweet. more like tart, and as the container says, "piney".

What species of juniper do these berries come from?

from the evergreen plant, Juniper bush, shrub, or tree.

Can i use this for wild game meats like wild boar ribs ducks and pheasants

Yes, but people shouldn’t eat ducks because they’re too friendly.

Heady Aroma

Wonderful flavour and fragrance. Berries are very fresh and easy to keep that way in the glass bottle they come in. Very good value.

Culinary Excellence!

I purchased this brand of Juniper Berries for my German Blaucraut because the brand I've previously used is ungodly expensive now, and this brand was sooo much cheaper on Amazon. I'm really happy to have switched brands because these are fresher and easier to adjust the amount to use. Absolutely excellent flavor! Will purchase this brand from now on.
