Homestyles Blair Black Dining Chairs, Set of 2

We ordered 6 of these chairs after looking at many more expensive ones at various furniture stores. We are happy with our purchase. They seem every bit as sturdy as the more expensive chairs. They were easy to assemble.One chair did arrive with a broken back, but after a quick call to the manufacturer a new back arrived two days later.The seats are large and we can’t quite push the end chairs in all the way to our 38” by 64” table so that the backs meet the table, but I think it’s fine. They would fit a little better if our table was a couple inches longer. (See photo)But overall we are very happy with the chairs!

It is very rare for me to give anything 5 stars. However these chairs exceeded all expectations. Arrived timely. Packaged securely. Easy to follow instructions for assembly. Quality materials. And once assembled a sturdy and beautiful chair.

Better than I expected! Our previous chairs (upholstery and wood) were destroyed by the cats, so without changing an entire dining room set we really just needed chairs. These wooden chairs are really nice quality and very sturdy. Took about 30mins to put 4 chairs together. If you plan to sit for extended period of time on them I’d suggest maybe cushions for added comfort. Would definitely recommend to others.

It's a fine looking chair. I did have (as I saw another did - so watch out for it) one back piece that had visible white glue "bubbling" at the seam - I wrote customer service with a pic, and they responded very quickly (within 30 minutes) and gave me the tracking number for the new part being shipped. My experience:Very simple to put together. There are 11 screws in total across the chair - they provide each size in separate bags (short, standard, long) - and the directions are clear. I think some have commented on this as being hard or taking a long time - I don't understand that. I've put IKEA furniture together that has been a pain - this was ezpz."Wobble." A few have spoken on this - two pieces of advice: (1) don't tighten screws one-by-one as you go - screw them in as "groups" - moving from one to another. Basic rule of furniture and it's in the instructions - keep them loose until you are ready to tighten them all down (more for the attachment of seat to back as opposed to the front two legs). (2) Potential "wobble" is controlled when you attach the seat and front legs to the back frame/leg assembly. Take your time with this - snug but don't tighten - and test the levelness (a word?) as you go. I found that it took a few iterations - there is a bit of flexibility in terms of these two pieces going together - and you can adjust the pitch of the seat to the back and get it perfect. Hope that makes sense.So - I think they're fine looking, solid, and had good experience with customer service. And the assembly takes a bit of care with the wobble factor you may read about in reviews, but I don't know that it would be any different with putting together any other chair.Update: I still feel good about the chairs - but the last two I received (of 6 total - in separate shipments) - had issues. One had the same "glue bubbles visible at seam" issue - the other may have been handled while the paint was still wet - and you can see the imperfections in finish on the top back of the chair. I've written and assume they'll ship new - but even with great customer service (and a product I'm happy with) - it's a bit of a chore.

I purchased these chairs after spending 10 times as much for chairs from Ethan Allen that were defective. These chairs are stylish and sturdy. They were easy to assemble - takes no more than 10 minutes per chair. (I saw a review that it took someone 4 hours to assemble and I have no idea what they did wrong). I purchased 8 chairs and am happy with them.

These chairs are good looking and sturdy. Great packaging - no dents, dings or scratches. I am not especially handy but assembly was a snap using Allen wrench provided by the manufacturer. Extra bonus: the chairs arrived three days earlier than the projected delivery date. Highly recommended.
