Smart Shades

These deserve higher than 3.8 rating. Good quality & stylish glasses. Comfortable too.

Absolutely awful!

I thought I would buy locally for these sunglasses. I’ve had them in use for three weeks and both sides snapped off at the hinges. Absolutely useless. I am forced to say don’t waste your money and buy some sunglasses that have quality and reliability. These are complete junk! They don’t deserve even a one star rating but I had to give them one to submit the critique.

Great but the middle broke and I fixed

Great sunglasses, my go to pair, the only issue I had was that they came apart in the middle and part of the plastic broke that formed the hinge, easy repair with a bit of super glue and have not had any other issues. Comfortable, easy to carry and function well.

Quality product

Was a bit concerned about previous reviews that stated the glasses were of poor quality and broke easily. I found them to be the opposite.........high quality, robust sunglasses that stood up to everything thrown at them on a 3 week holiday. They are easy to fold/unfold and look great.

Brilliant design!

I love the ease of use, re transporting them in a bag or pocket! They fold so small, even the pouch is relatively small as per the photo. They’re fab value for money, as such a rare design being able to fold them and the next competitor is RayBan at £100+. Would highly recommend

Fashion, not eye protection

The novel thing about these sunglasses is that they fold so compactly, both at the arms and completely in half, fitting neatly into a small pouch. Stylish too in a nice tortoiseshell, the retro shape of the frames actually suit my face shape, something that is quite rare for me. However despite the great design and aesthetics of the frame I'm really not convinced that the lenses are polarized and have 100% protection from UVA rays. I really wanted these to work as I love that they actually suit me, but I found myself still squinting on a sunny day when wearing, so for me sadly more of a fashion item than something I can wear to protect my eyes.

very flimsy

Bought this for convenience, that it can be folded. But one arm came off after 3 uses.

Disappointed

Disappointed! Bought end of Feb and broke whilst wearing them normally in June. Just snapped at the join. Real shame, reluctant to order again if this is a common problem!
