Stonewall Kitchen Horseradish Cream Sauce, 8.25 Ounce

This topping was very smooth, and not at all sugary. My husband loved the topping, because it wasn't sugary. I liked it. However, I'm the chocoholic, and he's not. I felt that this topping didn't have much of a chocolate taste. I agree with my husband that I want toppings to quit being so sugary, but I still want them to be rich in good chocolate. I had just made up my own topping a couple of weeks ago, and it was sooo good- not at all sugary, but rich in chocolate- just right, I thought. This topping had little taste to it at all. But it was smooth, and I did like it. I just didn't LOVE it. I think it's hard to find a good topping out in the marketplace, though.

Incredibly overrated and overpriced. This is hardly "creamy and decadent" as so many customers lied in their reviews. I found it to be runny, thin, and tasteless, as if it was made to smell and taste natural via chemistry. I think I will stick with Ghirardelli, Totino's, or Graeter's in the future. This stuff ruins anything you top it with.

I expected an expiration date of longer than 3 months which is what I got.Should have had an expiration date of at least 1 year since in my household this item is not used very frequently to be consumed in only 3 months beforethe expiration date has expired..

My first jar of this sauce was given to me as a gift. The second jar I purchased directly because the first jar was the best chocolate sauce for ice cream that I had ever tasted. The next jar was just as good. This sauce is very thick and that adds to the pleasure of eating it - I like to use the spoon that I dipped into the sauce as the spoon for eating the ice cream because a generous portion of sauce sticks to the spoon and slowly comes off with each spoon of ice cream. My only complaint: I like it so much that it is hard to limit my intake. My grandson prefers it over the ice cream it is placed on.

This is the tastiest, most luxurious sauce, perfect for drizzling over fresh cut green apples. (I also add chopped nuts). It is so perfectly balanced, between salt and sweet, that it’s almost savory. I have ordered many different products from Stonewall Kitchens, and have YET, to be dissapointed. This sauce is another winner. If you love dark chocolate, this is for you!

I almost hate to review this tarter sauce because my review might cause a run on the market, but here goes. Though my husband likes tarter sauce, I have always thought it was mediocre - until now. Stonewall Kitchen's Down East Tarter Sauce (Not their House Tarter Sauce) is a wonderful surprise. Though there are many different ingredients in both, I think the most important difference must be the dill pickle relish. Wow! It really woke up our taste buds. What a wonderful surprise.

This came from Cincinnati Sellers, it was solidified, pretty tasteless, and kinda chalky looking on the top. Definitely no longer a sauce.I've bought Stonewall Kitchen products in local stores that were excellent. This sauce was a horrible surprise, I can only imaging that it was years, maybe a decade old.I threw it out immediately, but I should have saved and returned it.

Taste great! A lot of chocolate flavor. But still very sweet. Also, it contains corn produced with genetic engineering, which I'm not so fond of.
