Fantastic picks for a huge number of music genres
Like many guitarists I went through the whole phase of trying every single type of pick known to man, just to see if one really felt like home. The Jazz IIIs are by and large the picks I kept coming back to and the ones I still use to this day.Anything from strumming to sweeps to economy picking to tremolos feel great with the Jazz III as the sharp point is good for all technique. Mutes and pinches are a breeze as well since the attack point of the pick is precise but tiny against the hand.Highly, highly recommended. If I could have used one pick for my entire music journey it would have been this one.

The gold standard of guitar picks
Switching to these some odd years ago was the best decision I ever made for raising my own skill ceiling. These are the best picks on the market, period. If you're switching from large, thin picks, these might take a lot of adjusting, but if they do, that's a good thing. These force you to hold your pick correctly, and they will force you to fix how you move your wrist and elbow. That said, these are sleepers. They don't look fancy, but they can play anything. They have a very balanced tone - no clinking, no scraping, just a direct 1:1 translation - but with some finesse you can bias them towards any preferred tonality. They sound and feel just as good on my humbucked .08w in E1 as they do on my single coil .0095 in E4, and I play everything from thall to neo-soul. They're thick enough that you can relax the hand/wrist but thin enough that you can still get them to punch. The sharp tip also gives them a slight aggressive edge that doesn't interfere with speed, agility, or accuracy, and also doesn't over enunciate the attack of each note. Simply put: they're perfect. Just buy them already.Get the bundle, I usually prefer the Nylons but some days the Stiffos feel a lot better, so it's definitely worth having both at your disposal.

Dont underestimate these lil dudes
These things are awesome. While they feel a little weird at first due to their small size, youll quickly adapt and never go back. As a lead guitarist, this makes alternate picking mich faster due to the sharp tip at the bottom. Id recommend this to any guitar player no matter what genre they play, works like magic.

An incredible little pick.
I've been using Jazz III's for about a year and a half now. Before discovering these picks, I was a loyal Tortex user and thought that there couldn't be a more perfect pick out there for me. I ended up using a Jazz III for the first time at a gig when I left my pack of Tortex picks at home. Other than the small size, I didn't immediately notice anything different about my playing that night, but when I went back to using a traditional Tortex, I found the larger size to be uncomfortable. It was only then did I realize how well I got along with the Jazz III. The smaller size means your fingers are right where they need to be at all times without any extra pick getting in the way.I perform in several different bands, ranging from a progressive metal group to a jazz quintet. This pick works well in all applications and playing styles. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the longevity. I am a very heavy picker, and playing hard consistently is enough to wear down these picks fairly quickly. I do have friends who get by on one pick for an entire year before they have to swap for a new, but that is not the case for everyone. I do have to say that they last longer for me than the traditional Tortex line. The life of these picks isn't enough for me to lower the score. I firmly believe that this is one of the best all-around picks on the market. If you have larger hands or decide that the small picks don't work for you, they do make Jazz III XL's which are a traditional size. For most players though, I recommend that they give these picks a shot. They won't make you a faster player, but they will make you more efficient.

My New Favorite Picks
Don't hesitate if you've been on the fence, these picks are great.I really like to play with sequences of fast alternate picking. These picks have quickly become my favorite. They are sturdy, smooth, and I haven't had any problems with them slipping in my fingers. I used the Jazz II picks for a while (also great) but I now prefer these over the Jazz II.I understand why so many incredible players use these as their go to pick. Nothing can replace practice, and there's no cheat code to developing speed, but these definitely feel better than other picks I have used specifically for that purpose.
