It worked perfectly, easy to follow instructions. Steering wheel buttons needs programming for it to function.

Easy to install, keeps steering wheel controls, got my audio system online and works great.

Worked well, coupled with a Sony XAV AX5600 head unit, to replace the existing E7006 unit.Wires matched up easily, soldered and head shrunk all of them.Not having luck with the backup camera -- not sure how power input works.No fade on the car but sounds and worked well. Steering wheel controls for volume, track skip, and mode all work well.No idea on durability yet.

Works great no font to rear fade which is fine the description mentions that but for what ever reason my steering wheel controls don’t work the plug was slightly to small (2008 Toyota rav 4 limited with the Jbl system) but other than that works as intended

Return or do not order. Instead order a idataalink by Maestro. You can get from Crutchfield.These units do not work at all. CRUX knows these units will not work, and have known for over 2 years.The problems are the amp will turn on once, might turn on again. Steering wheel controls do not function etc. etc. Calls to technical support were not returned, had to follow up, and they finally admitted that they have no fix...and not with a poor pcb but they lack the understanding of the digital control line. So just do not waste your time. I have tried CRUX on a Subaru as well. That also did not work. Just junk.

The harness itself is of good quality and the plugs match the factory plugs well. The instructions are pretty straight forward. It comes with 2 main harnesses for newer and older model vehicles, plus other jumpers and adapters for other different features and different head units. I installed this in a 2013 Toyota Tacoma with the factory JBL system. Here is the issue I encountered. Using the harness for newer vehicles the power plug matched the factory plug perfectly, but the speaker and control plug did not. The other harness for older vehicles was the opposite. The speaker and control plug matched but the power plug did not. What I had to do was cut the 2 harnesses apart and rewire them to make my own harness that matched the factory plugs for my truck. After that, it worked great for the aftermarket head unit installation.The other issue is that the steering wheel controls do not work. Did all the firmware updates, made sure everything was up to date and triple checked the installation. Tried every dip switch setting and changed the internal dip switch with every configuration and not one of the steering wheel buttons worked. I will be contacting Crux this coming week to see if I can get it resolved, but from other reviews, I’m not optimistic..

Ordered my radio from another site that included the wire adapter. That adapter was wrong and this was the solution. The new radio wouldn't have worked at all without this kit. This kit allowed me to keep the factory JBL system and steering wheel controls. Does take a bit of know how and wiring diagrams to hook up properly.

I purchased this interface to upgrade the head unit in my Tundra. I wanted to maintain all the factory steering wheel controls as well as the stock amp and sub location. This unit integrated my Pioneer touchscreen seamlessly! Installation was simple and my only negative would be the loss of fade control. I have two Tundras, an 05 and an 07. I plan on ordering another unit to use on my 05. Without this unit I would need a separate unit for the SWC, amp and head unit. Way to go CRUX!
