When it is too Good a third-party problem can occur.............
Cleans up the noise of a switching transformer? Yes it does; however, found a non-use glitch in the marketing world. Bought this to improve sound floor on my Google 4K TV box. Amazon AI was queried and gave a thumbs up for the audiophile extra mile. Here come the glitch, IFI is clean enough the Google Box triggers a setup error on boot saying it cannot derive power the TV USB output, use a (noisy) wall wart power supply. It works, but in this one case too well tricking the TV Box into thinking a setup error with the traditionally cleaner TV 5v USB output. Will attempt to return.

Great noise reduction and sound improvement to the Zen phono amp V3
Definite improvement in noise reduction when connected to the ifi zen 3 phono amp v3 which already sounded great. I was scheptical but I'm glad I purchased it. Both the V3 phono amp and power2 power supply are great products. My vinyl finally sounds great. It is my favorite media at this point.

Excellent power supply for my DAC
Using this with a Chord Qutest DAC, and it provides an excellent, low-noise solution for me. This is low cost and I don’t feel guilty spending hundreds on a linear power supply. Bottom line: I am very happy and feel the cost:benefit ratio highly favors this purchase.

Nice but expensive addition to iFi portable headphone DAC/amps
I like iFi products and my most recent addition was the iDSD Signature headphone DAC/amp. It’s great but it does not come with a power cord or charger. It only comes with a short USB A to USB C cable intended to be used for whatever charger the customer already has. While I probably could charge the iDSD Signature with other devices I have at home I decided to complete the package and get the 5V charger. One of the things that sold me on this particular wall wart, besides the “clean power” claim (make of that what you will) was the fact that it is delivered with four electric socket plug standards which covers most countries in the world. I bought the iDSD because I travel internationally for both business and pleasure and while travel socket adapters work just fine, there’s just something about being able to chose the correct socket plug for the country I’m going to be in. And of course since you get these four plugs it doesn’t matter to the wall wart if you are in a 110V or 220V country. I gave the product five starts for sound quality as a total score for the product, not literally for sound quality. I do not put too much credence into “clean power” but I’m certain it doesn’t hurt. I suspect that this “clean power” thing is iFi’s justification for the price. And that brings us to value for money. Quality - great. Adapters for many countries and accepting any voltage coming out of the wall - great. Overpriced - yes. Three stars.

My experience - voltage too high
Your experience will likely vary based on the specific product you use this PS with but my experience - voltage too high, negatively effected sound quality. iFi SilentPower measured 5.23vdc (no load w Fluke VOM) which caused DAC (ONIX XI1) to slightly accentuate mids & highs. After much A/B testing conclusion - DAC retained better overall tonal balance with the generic PS I had been running which measures 5.02vdc. iFi SilentPower voltage would likely drop closer to 5v spec with a higher load but in my low load application voltage ran too high.

I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised!
I have a small desktop 2.1 system that includes a Topping E50, Douk tube preamp eq, and a Dared MP5BT hybrid tube amp with some DIY mini bookshelf speakers (with planar ribbon tweeters that are very revealing), and a Martin Logan Grotto servo subwoofer. After seeing reviewers (like iiWi) explain in detail their experiences with different power supplies, I figured it was worth a shot. So I grabbed this iFi piece as well as the Viborg HiFi USB cable and A/B'd both upgrades. It's difficult to say which made the most difference, but I'd give a slight edge to the iFi power supply. My setup is definitely a bit on the bright side, and this toned down a bit of the "crunchiness" and sibilance. The sound is much warmer and richer, and the soundstage is better defined. The notes on an upright bass in a jazz track were also much more pronounced. Even the level was a bit higher with the USB cable... which I fail to understand how that would happen. Possibly dynamic headroom? With my particular setup, both the power supply and the USB cable had a similar effect, but the two pieces worked well together, and was a significant improvement to my ears. I really expected I'd be returning at least one of these pieces, but for just about $100 for both, it's a no-brainer in my book.

Esta muy bien construido, y viene con una variedad de accesorios útiles. En cuanto si mejoro el fondo negro de mi sistema, diría que lo hizo de una manera sutil.

Habe dieses Netzteil für meinen Zen Can Amp gekauft. Ergebnis: sehr guter Sound, Bass ist straffer, Soundstage etwas besser. Würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.
