Big Sisters Are the Best (Fiction Picture Books)

I got this for a friend’s daughter whose little sister was due to arrive any day. She is 2, but loved it and loves being a big sister. Cute little book and great addition to a little one’s growing library.

We used this as the gift my son would give my daughter when he was born. She absolutely loves this book. He is 3 months old now and my daughter will still pick this book to read atleast 5 nights out of the week. Love this book because it talks about being quiet when baby is sleeping and says there is still enough hugs and kisses to share with the new baby and the big sister. It's honestly just adorable!

I gave it to my 4 yr old granddaughter the day her baby brother was born. She has been so excited to be a big sister and this book shows that some activities are for big sisters and some for babies. She liked it, and says her favorite part is that big sisters eat cupcakes!

So happy to find this book.Kiddos need to have something tangible when a new baby comes to live with them as their world changes dramatically no matter how well you believe you prepare your child.

She loved it

This is a very good addition to any collection of kids books. My daughters were excited for this one with the arrival of a baby brother and have enjoyed reading it several times. The pages are large and nicely illustrated and the story is easy to read (for a 5-year old). The story also helps kids know what to expect with the arrival of a baby, which is good. Although my daughters like this book, I wouldn't say it is one of their favorites - at least not right now.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a 5 year old and a newborn. My 5 year old enjoys reading so I wanted a book that not only she could enjoy, but also help her adapt to having a baby at home. We read the book together. It has simple sentences that explain basic things of a routine with a newborn. When we got the book, we read ot together and she loved it. I really recommend this book for those who have new babies in the families.

Super cute and perfect gift for a big sister to be!

My daughter loves this book and will ask me to read it to her. The text is really simple and I adapt the words to our situation. It communicates really well what being a big sister is like as well as how big sisters are still loved and are not too big for cuddles.

I bought this beautiful Book to give to my Granddaughter when her Baby Sister comes along in May. I know she will just love it as Iv'e read through it and its soo sweet with wonderful Pictures/Colours etc. Ideal when Baby No 2 is coming into the Family. Super Quality and Fantastic Value.
