Molly Moon & The Incredible Book of Hypnotism

Its was a pretty good movie, for being on viooz, so quickly, but all in all very cool performance, by Raffi Cassidy, who plays the title character in the film. I think for many young actresses, this seems to be the way they start out. For her, great start.

I've never read the book this movie is based off of. I plan on it in the future. This film was spectacular. I love the music, the storyline, the casting, the set, costume design etc. I really deserved an academy award. But, people are ignorant to what movies are good and which ones suck nowadays. I am not going into too much of the plot. I'll just say you NEED to watch it!

Molly Moon, the cutest orphan who ever lived, learns how to get people to do her bidding by hypnotizing them. When she learns how to hypnotize crowds and TV audiences things really get interesting. Raffey Cassidy is very charming in the title role. The movie is lots of fun and I’m pretty sure young girls, among others, will thoroughly enjoy it. I did.

I enjoyed this book from the beginning through the end. I enjoyed the book so much that I purchased the movie. As with many stories made into books, the movie version tends to change things a bit and thus looses somewhat. Being a fan of Raffey Casidy helped the movie version. Generally the story is so good that both the book form and movie form are excellent and deserved to be read and/or watched.

Fun for preteen girls.

Cute movie (NOT an academy award winner for sure) for anyone that loves the book series. Daughter was disappointed that no sequel or series is being made.

My 8 year old granddaughter loves this movie. She has viewed it many times more twenty times. She is usually very hard to please,but this movie is her absolute favorite.

Not as good as the book.

Not able to review the film or in fact watch it! The small print on the box says it is authorised for sale in the US only so it is not compatible with the UK system. Very disappointed as my daughter was in the film and we can't watch her.
