KlutzJr. My Cat Mermaid & Friends Craft Kit

I purchased this set for my daughters (4 and 7) who were interested in learning how to sew. We had bought another “learn to sew” kit, but this one was simpler and will help them “graduate” to the other kit. I love that the pieces are pre-cut and have holes — it’s truly a good set for beginners. There are two paper practice projects which are helpful and the direction book breaks down steps simply with clear illustrations. The fish stoppers were a great touch (no need to worry about tying knots) and my girls were both able to follow the directions with minimal help/checking in. The projects were also super cute and they loved being able to stick on the extra felt details and stickers. Highly recommend for a young child who wants to learn to sew.

My kids LOVED this kit! My son age 7.5 and daughter aged 6. The instructions we great and easy for follow. It allowed them to be creative and try something new in a fun and simple way.

I made these with my grandkids, ages 5 and 7. They loved making them but the peel and stick decorations fell off almost right away. This was disappointing. Once made, they will need to become shelf art.

Excellent for a 4yo to learn the first steps in sewing

Highly recommend. My daughter is 4, almost 5, so she needed help with directions and some assembly of the animals. However, she loved it! We got to do an easy craft together that she got to decorate and make her own.

Perfect for beginning sewing! My six year old granddaughter was able to pick this up and do it all by herself! Because of the pre-punched holes in the Fabric for the toy. It made it easy for her to do by herself! The stuffed toys turned out just as they looked on the box!

This was bought for my daughter (age 5) from Grandma for Christmas. I have to say, I’ve been putting off doing it with her as I thought it was going to be a pain. It was actually easy and very enjoyable. She has loved it! It’s very easy to do, the instruction booklet is great and each item doesn’t take long. She’s very chuffed with her creations and I would consider buying this as a gift for other little girls. I occasionally had to help when she missed a hole or got her thread muddled, but a lot of it was independent.

My kids loved this crafts and could do it with minimal help.

Bought for my 8 year old niece for her birthday and she loved them. She made one straight away.
