Besides having perfectly cooked rice, I’ve been using this cooker for vegetables and pasta (macaroni, penne, etc.) and was satisfied each and every time. It’s a time and dishes/pots saver!

I like this microwave cooker and will continue to use it. There is one design change that would make it perfect. The radius of the turn from bottom to side of the bowl needs to be larger. When used for rice where the water and rice proportions are precise or for ramen noodles where there is a surplus of water, there is no problem. If you use it to reheat something from the freezer, there can be a problem. I reheated, from frozen, a thick chili/red beans and rice casserole. There was no need to add water to the recipe, these were leftovers that just needed heating. The narrow radius at the bottom corner of the bowl allows for concentrated microwaves to pass through the food. Without stirring every 60-90 seconds the food in the corner of the bowl overheats and almost burns. If left unattended for 4-5 minutes too long the food would go from overcooked to burnt very easily. I would also think that a more gentle curve would make for easier manufacturing and easier stirring.Still like it the way it is and will continue to use it!!

Used it the first night. Of course it is for regular rice, but I was being quick about it and threw in 3 cups of minute rice for 10 minutes and was beautifully steamed. Very nice plastic and steamer lid, with outer locking top and holds the spoon during storage. Easy to wash. Came out of dishwasher fine.

Extremely useful and fits well in standard hotel suites. We took it on our trips, and used in Embassy suites standard microwaves. Very convenient and easy to clean.

This rice cooker was broken /missing a clamp that locks the lid while cooking in the microwave. Not happy with that but I didn’t know how to return it. It boils over because the lid doesn’t make a tight fit. I would love to get a replacement since I paid for it

It does NOT have the capacity for 10 cups of cooked rice or raw rice! And the instructions are only for one cup of rice!! So now you have to extrapolate and through trial and error figure out how much water to put in for two or 3 cups of rice, which is probably the maximum hold. How much effort does it take to put something in the documentation?

I didn't even know I needed a microwave rice pot. it keeps my microwave clean, faster than my electric rice maker and it works great with instant rice too. Follow water directions because it's different than stove-top rice.

Después de un año de uso no me ha dado ningún problema y se ha convertido en una herramienta indispensable para preparar mis alimentos regularmente.Acumula un poco de agua en la rejilla al sacarlo del microondas pero aún no estoy seguro si eso lo causa mi microondas o la arrocera. De cualquier manera, eso no afecta la cocción en ninguna forma.

I was skeptical about this product but it's definitely met and exceeded my expectations.I was going to buy a rice cooker but couldn't justify the cost and didn't have the space for it. I'm glad I gave this little wonder a chance because it makes great rice each and every time! I did ok with stove top rice but after using this item I now realize, oh, not all rice clumps together? LOL.Clean up is gloriously easy. No sticky rice at the bottom. No overflow clean up on the stove.Cooking and set up instructions are skeletal at best so the maker should improve on that regard. If you play around with it bit you'll find things piece together with little fuss.An added bonus is that microwaving the rice frees up stove space when cooking which is always handy.Highly recommended!

I've been looking for an alternative to the stovetop for making rice and this I it!! It makes perfect rice every time. I've made different types of rice in it too. No burnt rice ever!!!
