I get the concept, but that's not how scripture works. Never in history has the scripture changed for the convenience of the reader(until modern times) and it's OK for children to be exposed to the whole Word of God. I like this translation so much that I would not hesitate to use it as the primary translation for and adult. It does a great job simplifying wording without removing the deep things of God. Amazing! I have received a LOT of wonderful insights reading along with my kiddos in this translation, just by hearing the same scripture in a new way. Praise God! Review: Looks and feels great - Nice quality and look. I gave it to my teenage grandson and he loves the easy of reading and the feel of the cover. I will be purchasing more.

Great Bible but to advanced for my 6 yr old
It says for 6yrs and up. But for my little 6 yr old . The reading was way too advanced. I’ll Save for later

Nice Bible comes with a wee cotton bag which is nice.

Bought this Bible for my 7 year old daughter and she loves it. Presentation is good, there are helpful notes in there and highlighted verses for her to engage with. Jesus' speech in red would have been a nice touch and made this review a 5 star.
