Furinno Entertainment Center w/2 Bin Drawers, Steam Beech/Black

Let me start off by saying I am NOT a paid reviewer.I actually got this to use as a coffee table since my space is limited. I normally do not assemble anything I buy. That what my son is for. But, I decided to give it a try. (Good thing I did because he broke his wrist in 2 places that night!) It was fairly easy. I loved that all of the screws, etc. were clearly marked in the plastic with numbers so it was easy to see what was needed where. The only thing was there was a side towards the bottom of one of the boards that was kind of bubbled. I'm sure it wouldn't be too noticeable to others but I could see it. Seeing as I didn't notice it until it was completely assembled and the box was thrown away, I contacted customer service and they were more than happy to just issue me some credit towards it instead of me having to take it all apart and having to find something to return it in. Amazon is great with that.All in all, I would highly recommend it for a table, but, as for a TV stand I think it's kind of low.

THE BINS are so much bigger than I expected. You can really fit a TON of stuff in there - DVDs, gaming stuff, cleaning wipes for the TV... or anything else you can think of. I was hesitant after seeing negative reviews about the product packaging and assembly. Our product came packaged well and there were not any chips or dents that other people have seen. It was SO EASY to assemble - I'm surprised that so many have complained about it. I found it simple and I assembled it by myself while my husband was working - all while caring for my 8 month old son. One tip I can give is this: When the directions say to put the pegs into a piece, pound them in with a rubber mallet or a hammer PRETTY FAR. Don't stop at halfway. Pound them in until there is maybe 1/4 inch exposed. It will be much easier then to put them into the other pieces and you won't end up with the peg dowel preventing it from being flush - and you won't have to pound on the furniture then - which would probably dent. Bottom line, this is a great product for the PRICE! I got the coffee table, two end tables, and the entertainment center.

First let me start off by stating that this product looks quite good, and yes! it is durable when it's fully assembled, that's the reason I gave this item 4 stars, but my experience was not the best over all it wasn't so goodI needed a new TV stand entertainment center that was durable, and stylish, I also needed something with more storage for my blu-ray player & TV cable receiver box, and this stand has what I needed. also I wanted to replace my old 70's style rolling model stand, and this Furinno model seemed to be the best choice for my budget, but of course this purchase choice turned out to be a bit disappointingI should have paid attention to previous reviews, the reason I didn't is because I assumed that maybe those bad experiences were just isolated incidents, so I took a bit of a risk and decided to purchase this entertainment center anyway, and now even though I liked the finished product I wish I had taken my time to find better service and product quality so I would have avoided unnecessary frustrationsShipping issues occurred I the product arrived with damages, and I received the wrong color style, but I contacted the sellers, and to their credit they quickly sent me a hassle free replacement without making me return the heavy broken items, but note: you should take photo's if you receive broken item to show proof of damaged goods, thankfully I took a photo with my cell phone and I was able to email it to the sellers, and they sent me a replacement, all though the replacement item I received arrived complete with large shoe print on the box suspicious?..mmm..that said the replacement appears to be in good condition and in the correct color styleAssembly instructions are confusing, Yes! the item looks great after assembly is complete, but! it took me most of the day to figure out the instructions because the items parts are not numbered or lettered correctly, the instruction manual has letters and numbers with some illustrations, but product itself is not labeled at all. so if you're not use to assembling things you'll have a good amount of difficulty putting the unit together, I think it's safe to say that assembly is not easy for everyone the wood parts are heavy also they can chip if you're not careful. it's also easy to make mistakes using the awkward confusing instructionsLast words & notes: the price is right, but if you choose to buy this product be prepared to receive broken, and damaged goods most likely due to poor packaging, and handling, also read the reviews because this experience made me realize that(Reviews Do Matter) especially if you notice more then one or two bad reviews, chance are those bad reviews are not just isolated occurrences, and I can't speak for anyone else but every penny I spend is important to me, because money does not grow on tree's and I think every shopper should get a quality product no matter how much they spend. well thanks for reading hope I was able to help you make an informed shopping choice.

I needed a light colored TV stand to fit in my teeny-tiny living room. After searching high and low, this was the only one that fit the bill. I was afraid to order it, as there were many reviews indicating the package arrived "destroyed", or "without any screws. Well, my package arrived in a timely manner (no charge for shipping), it was "double packaged", so the gashes inflicted on it by UPS failed I to cause any damage whatsoever, and ALL the parts and screws were there! I was very surprised by this, as Amazon reviews tend to run "true". Since it was very low cost, easy to put together, and looks good in my small space, I feel I need to give five stars.

The basic complaint about this product is installation. The vertical "stabilizers" have wooden pegs that are supposed to connect to each other in order to keep the top board from sag. This is not the case. The bottom, middle, vertical stabilizer fits perfectly into the bottom board and middle board with its pegs, however, the top, middle, vertical stab has pegs also that are supposed to insert into both boards as well..... With the middle board being so skinny the pegs just hit each other providing no support! Or if you wanted to be clever and try to just connect the pegs from bottom, middle, stab to the top, middle, stab...the pegs are not long enough to go through the middle board to reach the holes on the top, middle, stab. So now I have an entertainment center that I had to find right sized books to store in the middle to make sure the top board does not sag. This product should be sold at 5-10 dollars versus the 50 I paid for it. Just a quick tip I thought I'd let you shoppers know about before the buy!
