NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Original Terrible Towel, Gold

I ordered this item for my roommate for Christmas this year. We had been sitting around watching football earlier in the season (she is an avid Steelers fan and I am a diehard Packers fan) During a wide shot of the crowd waving their Terrible Towels around she said "Man, I wish I had a Terrible Towel!!" I got on my phone, got on my Amazon app and ordered it immediately. I saw somebody else had submitted a comment about being disappointed that it wasn't very thick or couldn't be used as an actual towel. I thought this was funny, because it's not really meant to be more than a towel to dry your hands from a cold beer and wave around in the air yelling fanatically at your tv. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would. purely for the look on her face when she opened it and immediately began yelling happily and waving it in the air. (Ironically, the next day after we did our gift exchange, the Packers played the Steelers, and they beat us >.< LoL) It is indeed a Terrible Towel, perfectly suitable for it's use and a great deal for the price. And, a portion of the proceeds go to a really good charity. It was an all around winning situation. I bought this for my boyfriend because I'm taking him to his first Steelers game in November. The product came quickly, was the perfect material and doesn't look cheap. You can buy it from the NFL Shop, but this is just as good and a bit cheaper in price. Worth the purchase.

My husband has been a Steeler fan since the 1970's and I knew he always wanted a Terrible Towel. I came across this by accident just after the 2010 season started and got it for him as a surprise. He was so happy to see it. Every week that a Steeler game was broadcast, he had to have it handy. It is one of his favorite NFL items (next to his numerous Steeler t-shirts, that is). It is so well-used, I may need to order another one.

its a five star because its rele awesome. its the official myron cope terrible towel and its so cool. its perfect for die hard steelers fans! if you know a steelers fan who doesnt have a terrible towel buy it for them. they are rele cheap in price but not quality and they are a steelers tradition. buy it!

Purchased as a gift for my son-in-law, he loves it. Nice quality material, fast shipping and looks exactly as pictured.

I bought this because my husband is a Steelers fan and when your baby is born in Pittsburgh hospitals they wrap the newborns in terrible towels. So this one is for our little newborn to be wrapped in when they arrive. We had to buy our own since we aren't lucky enough to live in Pittsburgh. Plus, now the baby will have it's own towel to wave while we watch games.

Replacement for original terrible towel owned back in the day. Good quality. Official NFL product. Fun to swing during the game, even if just watching at home. Drives the other half crazy, as he follows a different team. Haha... For those questioning the size, it is supposed to be this size. Great for travel and twirling in the air to distract the other team. Yes, a bit expensive, but I'm just happy it's available over here. It's even more expensive at the NFL shop once you add shipping, so I was thrilled to get it on Amazon.
