Scientific Glass Caffeine Beaker Mug (450mL)

I bought this as a git for someone and they loved it! Great coffee mug beaker!

This is a pretty solid beaker mug. The glass seems thin at first glance, but it's very strong. The mug handles boiling water being poured in with no problem at all. The handle is the same, it looks weak at first glance. But it's very solid for everyday use.Out of curiosity, I checked the measurement markers. They are off by quite a bit, but I don't think any reasonable person would expect them to be accurate. This is a good and solid mug. I recommend it.

On first glance, you'd think this was an actual borosilicate beaker that someone had attached a handle to. That gets really fun when I use it for a more colorful drink and hide the handle in my palm. The only thing I don't like about it is that is has the caffeine decal on the side, but I can see how a lot of people would like it, so that's not really an issue. It also feels a little thin, so I'm not sure if I would use this for anything super hot. Still a great mug.

I wish they would have made it out of pyrex and a thicker handle. It feels and looks so fragile. I've had it for six months and it hasn't broken yet and I even put it in the dishwasher. So maybe its stronger than I thought it was.

The beaker style is very cute. It feels nice to hold the handle, but it does feel like it could break off easily. Hasn't happened yet, though. I liked that the scientific markings are present, but I don't think they are accurate. It is not actual borosilicate glass, so it does get very hot with a hot drink and probably won't stand up to heat cycling

I got this mug as a Christmas present to myself, and I love it! I've used it a few times for my coffee, and the heat doesn't leave too quickly. Also, as a nerdy bonus, the molecule of caffeine is correctly drawn.A few things I did not appreciate from the item is that the glass is fairly thin, and I'm fairly sure that the mL measurements are not accurate. However, if you are looking for something for your nerdy self or nerdy friend, I definitely recommend this product!
