Oil visual inspection
I liked the smell of it, however the the taste leaves something to be desired. The containers are my favorite color of red but the caps are black (not my favorite). It pours quite nice out of the container however I did get a couple of drips when I stopped pouring. I do recommend this product. The Barnes' Stormer

W15W-50
The oil showed up, no problem there and good to go.I just wanted to let everyone know that the oil is actually W15W-50 as depicted in the sales picture. However, the oil is advertised as 15W-50. There is a monumental difference between the two oil types all separated by the leading letter "W". So just be sure you want W15W-50 when you place your order and you'll be good to go.

Quality & performance over wide temperature ranges
I purchased a turbocharged Cessna T182T airplane over 3 years past; plane was using this oil per engine logbook; have continued to do so while flying in Texas cold to Texas hot temps (10F to 110F). Annuals have always shown 76 or higher over 80 for all 6 cylinders; oil filters when cut have never shown in metal issues with currently 1,650 hours on engine.

The oil that complies with all Lycoming requirements and recommendations !
I was using Aeroshell 100 before I decided to go with this semi-synthetic. After one hour engine run on my PA28-140 with 2300 hrs on the engine, compression improved dramatically (78), and it passed the 400 hr valvelifter check with flying colors.(it was critical before), The starter spun the prop faster than ever before ! This oil saves 40$ per oil change, since it already contains LW-16702. Lycoming O-320 engines originally designed for 80/87 fuel run hotter on 100LL. This oil provides a 20 degree higher temperature tolerance. I am confident that the lead scavenging properties of this oil will make “sticky” valves a thing of the past ,
