Sounds good even at the wrong ohms
I installed the Mopar Kickers in the front doors of my Jeep KJ (07 Liberty) * Using the factory Infinity amps, the front doors will need a plug adapters or you can do as I did and plug the wires directly onto the terminals. Since they are not marked on the factory side & a different color than the stereo harness wire, I put the left factory wire to the left post of the Kicker and the right to the the right.... No problems. I left the factory amps lay in the bottom of the door. I pushed them in tight so they are pinned otherwise they will bang around every time you shut the door. I learned the hard way. The tabs line up with the factory holes. These are 4 ohm speakers and using the 2 ohm amp reduces the sound output a lot but still sound great compared to the taped up factory Infinity speakers. Believe it or not that tape job seen in the picture lasted almost 2 years before it started to crackle again and I'm sure better tape or a little more tape and they would have lasted another 2 years, LOL I'm a poor SOB. Anyways for $75 they are a great upgrade and I can't wait til it cools off a bit so I can run new wiring and power them with a 4 ohm amp so they can live up to their full potential.

Great upgrade to stock speakers
After reading the great reviews I ordered installed the first set in the rear speaker bar with a noticeable difference in the bass and clarity over the stock cheap speakers. Very impressed with the quality of these speakers for the price. After the difference seen in the rear, I immediately ordered a set for the front dash. I installed those today. The rear install was simple and the fronts took a bit more time. I definitely recommend watching the YouTube videos to save some aggravation, then they are pretty easy to switch out in the front. I didn’t remove the drivers side housing, just pulled the trim back enough to remove and reinstall using a small ratchet driver with a Phillips head. I did remove the passenger side housing since it was easy to get out and I couldn’t reach the speaker screws. Once i installed all 4 speakers, it sounds great and a big improvement over stock. It won’t blow you away with bass, but it does sound a lot better with the stock head unit. I did use some polyfil baffling in all areas, but not too sure if that made any difference. I couldn’t tell any difference in the rear without and with the baffling. These speakers are a great choice for an easy reasonably priced plug and play replacement in your Jeep!

Too simple but....
If you've read reviews and forums you already know not to expect life changing sound with these and the OE head unit but I'm pushing with a 45 rms head unit and they sound 2000 times better than the stock JK speakers.Despite the folks saying the driver side was a chore it actually wasn't, instead of trying to lift old speaker out and down I lifted and tilted forward and it came right out, and doing the reverse the new one went in even easier. Of course i took the opportunity to polyfill everything while I was at it.Although I thought the price was a little high considering there are higher db, higher watt, speakers out there for less these are plug and play with the factory plugs amd with just 45 watts pushing them and a small powered sub has the jeep louder than it should be and sounds great with the top down doing 75 on the highway.

Huge difference for the regular Jeep radios
2015 Jeep Wrangler. I thought the old speakers were just fine but was toying with the idea to buy these for a while based on other reviews. I only changed out the overhead ones and testing new vs old with the fader on rear and then doing "balance" to compare - I tossed my old speakers in the recycle bin after the install and I'm buying another set for the fronts which will not be a cake walk to change over compared to the easy-peasy change on the roll bar. The other reviewers were right about the weight difference, the old ones feel like they could float away by comparison - I couldn't believe those were the speakers I liked before - like I said - trashed 2 perfectly good speakers today and you may too very soon. As far as the people complaining that the factory amp and subwoofers on their Jeep Wranglers weren't compatible or didn't improve with these - the answer is very obvious as they don't have the "regular radios" that went in to 90% plus of these Jeeps, they have the super expensive and deluxe "Alpine radio" or they wouldn't have such things like an amp or a factory sub-woofer. They already have a superior system than us, but for the rest of us - these things Rock !!!

What a difference!
I'm no audiophile but replacing the stock speakers with these has allowed me to better enjoy my music tenfold. I had replaced the ones in the bar and was compelled to "fade" the sound to the back by about half as the front was terrible Now I'm back to Fade-0... kickers all around plus powered subwoofer!!!!

Well worth the upgrade
This was on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Replaced sound bar and knee panel speakers. I am not a stereo tech I just know when I play music and the audio is distorted terribly, I knew something was wrong. I installed these Mopar upgrades and the audio cleaned right up. It made a noticeable improvement over stock to my ears so that is all that matters to me. The part I like about these speakers was the plug and play and no adapting anything! Pay attention to the tab when installing, the large tab must be in the correct position so it mounts correctly. It is also easier on the passenger side after removing the glove box to remove the 3 screws (7mm socket) under the glove box and pop the side panel off and remove the two screws (7mm socket) that hold the speaker box and there is one 10mm bolt underneath that hold the speaker box that should be removed, unplug the speaker in the back of the box and wiggle the speaker box out the opening where the glove box was. Then remove and install the speaker and wiggle the box back in place.
