aFe is proud to offer inch Race inch Twisted Steel long tube headers/Connection Pipes combo for the 2000-2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ/LJ) with I6-4.0L engine. The performance Twisted Steel long-tube header is constructed of 1-1/2 inch, 14 gauge, mandrel-bent, stainless steel tubing. The smooth curves and increased diameter of this header help remove restriction and keeps exhaust flowing smoothly. In testing, this system resulted in gains up to +2 horsepower and +7 lbs. x ft. of torque, as measured on our in-house dyno. The header comes with a 1/2 inch thick laser-cut head flange that is designed to match the head port for a leak-free seal. Formed collectors are used on the header to decrease turbulence and increase exhaust velocity. The high-flowing Connection Pipe is designed using 2-1/2 inch mandrel-bent tubing for optimum flow. This system is designed to fit as a combo with all necessary hardware. Stainless Steel Construction: This system is constructed of durable mandrel bent stainless steel tubing. Factory ing Locations: Utilizes factory ing locations making it a true bolt-on system. Header: Formed Collectors: Utilize formed collectors to decrease turbulence and increases exhaust velocity. The result is increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response. Optimized Tube Lengths: Tube lengths are optimized for true pulse control technology.1/2 inch Laser-Cut Flanges: These headers come with 1/2 inch thick laser-cut head flanges and kets that are designed to match the head port for a leak-free seal.
