Q: What is the difference between lemon and lemon creme filling? i am looking for the classic lemon filling for a merengue pie. thank you!

I bought the original lemon and it is like the traditional lemon pie. The cream would not have the clear look and would not, I think, have the clear lemon "sharpness."

I think it would work good for donuts. I holds up very well as a topping on my Mom's lemon danish. It has a nice flavor as well.
