Clean Sound and Great Value
No added static, true bypass, and great value for a 10-Band Equalizer. Unlike some other pedals I’ve bought on Amazon, this one was one of the good ones.

Highly recommend this pedal
This eq did wonders to my heavy metal sound. Completely changed the sound of my amp to be able to get a more heavy metal sound and it enhance all my pedals. To be able to customize my guitar sound in many different ways is an awesome experience.

Great but had to try several power supplies before I found one that didn't cause hum
Sound quality is good. True bypass. Build feels solid. LEDs are brighter than I would like but at least they're red and not blue. I'm using it on an EHX DRM-32 rhythm machine (mostly to tame the massive low end and hype the mids a little) so I can't really speak to how the gain would work on a guitar. Since I was using it subtractively, pushing the gain up a little brought the overall level up to a good spot. The frequencies on this one are different than I've seen on some other eq pedals, make sure this will work for you. Only real problem I had was finding a power supply that didn't cause a loud hum. Using a 9v battery was fine, but I wanted to be able to leave it plugged in all the time. I tried 6 different power supplies before I found one that worked without causing a loud hum. Not sure what the trick was - none of them were switching, they all had similar amperages... <shrug> Surprisingly, using the supplied 9v adaptor cable, my Radio Shack 9v battery eliminator caused loud humming. A vintage Boss PSA-120 worked so that's what I'm using and it sounds good!

Versatile and Durable EQ Pedal
I use it to polish the sound of my distortion and overdrive pedals. EQ's are the most underrated and versatile pedals in the market, try this one. The detail of the LEDs on each bands is very helpful and looks pretty cool. Very intuitive, it could be a little bit smaller, but that's not an issue for me.

The pedal crackles, the switch makes a loud audible click, the gain is at least 6 dB low
I have had trouble getting this Caline CP-24 EQ pedal to do anything and I just figured out why, but too late to return it. It turns out that I got a defective pedal, or perhaps they are all defective. I don't really know which. In any case, this one does not work right. With all the EQ sliders set to 0, the Gain slider has to be at 6 just to not sound quieter when it is switched on. The Gain set at 0 is supposed to be unity gain, but that actually is about 3dB quieter than when the pedal is off. So if you are using it to get a lower signal (like playing in an apartment with this pedal in the effects loop) that actually works well. But using it before an amp is not so good.I think I would like it if I got one that worked right. Since it took me over 30 days to figure out what was wrong, I don't know how to return it. I recommend getting it locally so you can return it if you get a defective one.Other info - It takes up 2 pedal spaces. The lights on the slider are great. The on/off switch is really loud when switching it on. There is a big audible click. Again, I don't know if that is on all of these pedals or just the one I got. 2 stars might be generous.Changing from 2 stars to 1 star because, later, after I wrote the initial review, the pedal started crackling when switched on. It is totally unusable. Not worth buying.

Nice addition to tweak the sound
I love having an equalizer anytime I’m listening or making music. This little $30-$40 device is excellent to tweak your sound just like you’re using one on an audio playback. The only problem I had was that those slots on the top allow water to get in because I spilt a Coke and it took about a month for that to dry out and return to Usable condition. But that was my fault. All in all I’m very happy and if this one comes out, I will order another one because in my 50 years of playing I’ve never used one for my guitar.
