When I was redoing the plumbing I replaced the wash down outlet at the stern of the boat with this one to have a quick connection and eliminate having to fight with the hose and the 3/4 inch outlet. The quality is excellent and is a close match to the other stainless steel fittings I am using for the water tank fill, waste pump-out, and fuel inlet (the boat is dirty from working on it and the water inlet isn't changed yet). This fitting has "washdown" engraved on it. While the fitting could be used as an inlet as well as an outlet, I thought the swivel cover could lead to contamination entering the water supply. For a matching city-water inlet I used the matching Aquor RV city water inlet. That piece is almost identical, but has a better inlet seal and is embossed with "aquor" instead of "washdown". The check valve held properly against the 55psi pump on the boat and the high-pressure city water. This is a great value for the clean look and ease of use, and I expect it to hold up for a long time!

I installed this on the back of my yacht for a deck wash system. It works perfectly. It's very convenient and works like a charge. Very well built. Sturdy. Looks super nice.

I spent a lot of time looking for a connection solution for our washdown, clean looking, long lasting and easy to install. This fit the bill, I installed it today and it worked as it should. The steel is heavy and solid, connection is firm and easy to twist in and out and the Delrin quick disconnect can take the kicks and beatings w/o cracking. Very happy with the hydrant. I used PEX to plumb in the pump.

Seems like a quality item out of the box. Came with hose adapter which is a pleasant surprise although it does show in the product picture. Does not come with mounting hardware which needs to be bevel head stainless steel.

Installed this in our cockpit area to get easy access for hose-based things (power washer, sprayer, etc.) to clean up on the back of the boat. It had all applicable measurements laid out clearly, and hence installed in just a few minutes -- big center hole, 3 screw holes, some 4200, and voila! Hooked a couple fittings into a T in a water line nearby, and I was done. I was surprised to find that it's actually a full drybreak connection -- when you pull the fitting out, it has a spring inside it to keep the water (and pressure) in the hose side, so water doesn't shoot everywhere while it depressurizes. Only potential downside is that the plastic insert/connector is nearly round and I'm pretty sure will definitely end up in the ocean someday while I'm fiddling with disconnecting hoses. But tis the nature of the beast.

Installed a wash down pump on my pontoon boat. This unit works fantastic and looks like it was factory installed. It's a good buy.

I liked this product so much i have just added the Marine Deckwash unit for my horse trailer so I can wash my horses down after riding them. built very well no problems with installation the service staff was very helpful with a questions about intalling.

Works fine, no leaks, but the cover does not fit, with time it may accumulate dirt and dust. There is a large gap 1-2 mm when the cover is closed
